    Yeah they're in BG2 too. there's a lot of items which reset your stats. there's a +2 mace in BG2 which gives you 18 strength and i always equip it to my cleric.

    There's always a nymph cloak or algernon's cloak but both only add +2 to charisma. Unfortunately the ring of influence is limited to BG2 :/

    Guys how about we all get 90 points each and we distribute them according to our characters? Tbh thats the average no. of points that is assigned to a character in a typical dnd setting.

    Sorry :( I'm basing it off of Baldur's Gate and in that game characters are usually given between 80-100 ish points with the minimum and maximum scores being from 3 till 18 (19 for some races).

    Which is why dice rolls would be useful. sure it would make it seem more like a game but tbh combat is really difficult to write without seeming op or mary sue ish. with dice rolls its all up to chance and luck. and the better the character is, the more likely he/she is to land a hit.
