Moving to discord wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.
Getting a feel for the DM and their style is more likely what'd either make me excited to start or spook me away.
I tend to dislike discord for IC. It's not exactly made for hosting formatted text, and I love me some formatted text.
That said, for something like DnD all of the channel, roles, and bot options are really nice, so I don't have a problem with it in this case.
Yes, an incubus is the male version of a succubus, but I will always refer to that char a male succubus on account of his personality... that is him being a total pussy.

Not 100% on what kind of character I'd want to play, but I have a few... hundred... spare character sheets lying around. A character I've been wanting to play is a socially-awkward male succubus that's a supportive warlock (fae/celestial patron). But of course that char had a few homebrew traits...
