Hello hello! So I have been absolutely wracking my headball to figure out how to fit my Venom Snake like OC into the world of Metal Gear, particularly concerning timelines, backstory, history, and interactions with certain characters. As such, these events occur around Operation: Snake Eater...
@CrowOuttaHell Nope. Not until that very moment, because as soon as my Spartan said that it became clear that that was their mission objective- which had just been thwarted by the threat of overkill death if such were to even happen. This wasn't the first time with them either; they went around...
There's one more, and this happened to be a while ago. Halo OC (my own), Spartan-II Commando. If there was ever a 'cringe-so-hard-then-die-laughing' moment, this was by far the best for me. The exchange went something like this after my Spartan repeatedly was advanced onto by an ODST:
"Listen...
@Hengleford That is messed up in eight different ways that I can't comprehend in which or where to start with. The amalgamation of fuckery HARDCORE AMERICAN PATRIOTISM HELL YEAH! is beyond my capabilities of logical evaluation.
I've seen Naval Captains who double as ONI Field Operators. Meaning...
This was my own experience of simply reviewing an OC from a Halo RP. For those in the know, the canon year was around 2558.
>Name is 'Lynda Palmer'.
> Age is 19 (fair enough..?)
> Year of enlistment into UNSC Marines was, and I quote, "Somewhere between 2552 and 2558."
>Bio stated that this was...
At the end of the day, you'll harbor no negative judgment from me. If someone tries and BEGS you to play a male, it's no requirement. They'll just have to deal with being told no. Fight 'em!
I have never heard the opposite before from anyone. Like the whole double-standard; that's probably the...
(Jeezus.)
The only actual exception I play when playing male characters are only either canon characters from specific series (haven't tried genderbent before), or generic soldier combat units (Like F.E.A.R Replicas- they are exceptionally fun to play.) My most developed character is a female...
I've to say, it may be because of insecurities, or fear. Because I played a female Spartan IV (and wasn't glory-filled like the community gives the label, mind you), people assumed me to be female. When I spoke to a member of the RP in Discord chat (just playing a casual game) they were...
Guilty pleasure o'er yonder is simply creating a scenario (such as a F.E.A.R RP I'mma bring back here soonish once I finalize the lore and everything) and simply watching the choices, actions and encounters characters have with one another.
I've got a F.E.A.R Roleplay buried deep beneath the recesses of the Fandom posts that's a lot like faction wars, but with OC's and players controlling event characters. Although I'd understand if someone wasn't familiar with the games or series at all.
