I'm on the opposite end of this. I love to write with anyone regardless of age! All I ask is that one is up front with their age and isn't disrespectful. I do see why some why people prefer a certain age range but that's on em.
It totally does effect my writing. Sometimes my work (more so as of late due to being short staffed to hell) has been murdering my muse. Fortunately my partner is so understanding and I love em. But I'm sorry the GM did that! Real life does get in the way and honestly, with the world's current...
Depends!
I was a total noob at one point so I totally get it. But for me to 'train' a newbie, all I ask is for their willingness to learn from what I teach and to apply it. Don't let me do all the work for you! But actually try! Take critique and build on it.
Yup. I seen it too...far too many times for comfort.
OCs that are invincible are a big annoyance to me as well. Especially when the other person tries to rub it in? Like: "Oh by the way, YC will never be able to hurt them let alone leave a mark ohoho."
OCs by far.
I created them so therefore I feel a stronger connection to playing them as such. I don't think I could ever do a pre existing character that someone had created (ex. Batman, Izuku Midorya, etc) justice. I wouldn't feel right roleplaying as them anyway especially when it comes to...
Maybe a spin on the movie Jennifer's Body? But with your own takes added in. Such as what if it were a male nerdy best friend instead? //low-key this idea has been floating in my head haha
Current Peeves:
Writer's block on my end of the story makes me so sad lol Just let me continue! And no, its not just something where I can easily push through (seen posts where people want their partner to keep going even if they have said writer's block) because I rather be stuck formulating...
I had one partner for about a year and a half. Unfortunately it has fallen off but it was nice to see our characters for that long.
My second longest is my current partners.
One of which since November of last year and the other since late April of this year.
KUDOS TO YOU FOR STANDING BY YOUR CHARACTER!
Ahem....
But seriously. I've been told to change my character before as well and when I refused; my characters were declared by them to be "Hypocritical and Stupid"
For people like that, I think they (incoming personal opinion) can't separate oneself...
EEE I'm a sucker for romance RPs.
What I like about them is for the growth between two characters to blossom into that beautiful feeling we all know as love BUT I also adore the insecurities that the characters may feel during it. Not just talking jealously but feelings like; "Am I even good...
The first few posts!
I say that because I feel those are crucial on whether your RP partner will stick around or not.
Another thing would be whether I'm giving my partner enough wiggle room but at the same time push the story ahead. I know some people get icky towards god-modding but I'm...
OMFG.
I can't even...what a sick...UGH! -shudders- That's really...just sick. Good on you for leaving that toxicity! I'd not only drop but block as well.
One liners.
I get writer's block, I really do! But for an entire duration of an RP when your partner is giving you paragraphs...its just seems lazy? Or at least establish that's your writing style before the start of the rp or, start putting some effort and give me some meat of a reply to work...
For me, it means:
1. A partner who's willing to be partners for a never-ending story in a way. Like if we finish one story, then we can make a new one for the next generation. Now, that is incredibly rare but I've had at least one role play where my partner and I had two generations of...
