In general, I feel the same. I usually prefer narrative driven RPs for Fandom RPs that allow you to play canon characters since I personally feel that it fits the style more.

Agreed. I mean the fight would be boring if people complain about getting punched once. Like being a wrestling fan thought me that one can actually look strong in defeat. People need to realize that and put their egos aside. Hell, looking strong in defeat is what Comics Spider-Man goes through...

Agreed with this 100%. I kinda like having my guys sell for a bit to make the other look good. It helps make a compelling narrative. It's like wrestling.

well honestly, it usually comes down to how they dress, how they act during certain situations and the people they choose to interact. It's not too dissimilar to any other person.

complaining about immortality. Sorry for not making it clear in the OP, I was multitasking. I say that Immortality isn't really OP of a power since it isn't also invincibility and let's be fair, dying is a mercy at times.

Personally, I find the over focus on powers, as in the whole OMG! THAT'S OP! thing to be rather dull.

As a writer, I've gotten sick and tired of seeing people putting more effort on their powers and abilities rather than the characters themselves. And as a fandom RPer, guys, you don't need nerf Superman. The Blue Boy Scout's personality is a better nerf than taking away his powers.

I'm sorry but that's really your best option. You have to try and try again. I've done multiple failed RPs before the one that I'm in right now. It's trial and error.

To be fair, RPN is a different site so the chances of the exact same experience is slim. I suggest you give it a go here if you have a friend to help you.

Honestly the easiest solution is making your own RP with a friend to help shoulder the burden of GMing.
