That's pretty cool but I am actually doing a different sort of campaign, more akin to the Mass Migrations/Barbarian Invasions of the European Dark Ages than the conquest of a completely new world.
I was thinking that they'd be invading because they were promised the land by their allies. Only problem is the people who currently live there. Kind of like the Anglo-Saxons who were promised land in exchange for working as mercenaries or like Rohan when they came to help Gondor.
What is with this newfangled conception that invasions are wrong? But then again, having the players backing a rival claimant could be nice, it'd be like William the Conqueror.

Well if the premise is them being Invaders I doubt that they will be too sensitive. Or if they are, they just won't join. But I mostly posted this to get more help with the format of the RP.
I find the Silmarillion to be much more interesting once it gets around to the mortals doing stuff. The Wars in Belariond is way cooler than the Maiar making the world. At least in my opinion.
