Suppose that one has an assortment of balls situated on a flat surface. You desire to have the balls arranged in a small circle, somewhere on the surface. There are several ways to coerce your spherical subjects to your goal.
One might push each ball to the circle, one at a time, until they...
Inquisitor is correct, in that dice can be tricky little beasts. It's very possible to master them, but you don't start out taming tigers if you're terrified by a tabby cat. I have always promoted the Fate system as being a good intermediate, and I will do so now. It's designed to be light and...
I should like to add that it is up to the discretion of the DM how frequently dice are rolled. There are no explicit mandates that dice must be rolled at every turn. That being said, there are times when dice are used outside of combat. Generally the rolls are saved for important things: do you...
Some brief research reveals that Bravely Default is a TBS game in the vein of Final Fantasy with jobs and whatnot.
I would advise you shy away for trying to accurately reproduce the whole battle system. It's fairly complicated to transpose that sort of thing even with a solid grasp of the...

Creepin' yer devArt Uziel :3
I used Photoshop for this one. Traced out the general shape of the landmass and then just sort of made up how it looks. Pencil tool, a few layers for some stuff, and a lot of hard work :3
Here's my interpretation of a map. Used a section of the Amaranth map as a guide, see if you can guess which! This was really just a quick mockup so I've left out water systems and any geopolitical markings you'd normally see. Height-based color scheme.

Although whenever I make a map, they...
