I’ve changed so much since when I started RPing. I’ve always loved and have had a passion for writing, but when I started RPing, I didn’t realize it correlated with writing itself. I used to RP in poorly developed roleplays. One example was simply an RP where you could create a hero or villain...
I try to stay in 1-3 RPs at a time. My absolute maximum is 4, but I typically aim for 1-3. Reason being, I GM an HP. Right now, I’m only in 1 RP, and that’s my own (Unless you count a quest RP. In that case, I’m in 2.). But earlier this month, I almost ended up in 4+ RPs.
I love roleplaying because I as a person love writing. Roleplaying takes me to my imaginary worlds that I can’t have in real life, and I can write up anything I imagine.
I, personally, believe that it depends on the type of roleplay we’re looking at here. If it’s detailed, then, no, a paragraph isn’t enough. If it’s anything other than detailed, I’d say it is enough, though a lot more could be expected. I’m neutral here, because it really depends on the roleplay.
