Since it's been quite a while, I went back and read through the RPN rules just now. ...Wait we're not supposed to write about gore? I know I've broken that one, and for sure my settings have made others do the same. Hell, one of my classic stories had a player's child character shoving arrows...

Hey-llo flamey feathery friend. I spy quite a few things in that list I really enjoy writing, so I'd be interested in building some story with you. I'll send you a few basic outlines for my original story ideas so you can get a feel for my writing style and if it matches your close enough.

Coming up with new characters shouldn't be a problem. All the player really needs to come up with for each one is their physical appearance. The setting negates any backstory, and personality can come out organically during writing, so long as it stays consistent.
Welcome to the Dark City, a place of violence and impossibilities, full of people who don't die unless killed and buildings that fix themselves when nobody's looking, ruled by kings that wield unnatural powers under a starless sky. Everyone is out to kill you, but you can't let them. After...
Bumping this back to the top. If you're interested in taking up an exploration adventure type story involving magic and many fantasy elements please let me know.
The quality of the writing is great, but I think you missed a crucial point in the second sentence of the opening post. The main character of this story is a perfectly normal person from our perfectly normal world.
I don't care much for character sheets, so I want you to tell me about the character you plan on using in this story in the format of a post. It can be of the events leading up to their death or just a normal day for them, so long as you can give me a good idea of who they are. This will also...
I'd like to know when you're usually available to post and your time zone, how much and how detailed you tend to write, and if it isn't too much a short writing sample that showcases the character you plan on playing. In the meantime I'll work on getting the RP posted.
Still looking for someone who's up for an adventure.
And to give you a bit of an idea about the setting, there will be many different fantasy races present, and there is a lot of magic scattered about every corner of the world.
If you couldn't tell from the title, this is going to be a story primarily about adventure; exploring fantastical places and discovering their secrets. The story begins with you, a normal person from our own normal world, dying. Exactly how it happens is something I'll allow you to think up, but...

The threads are up. Pretty sure I've rambled and repeated information, but oh well. I'd rather be redundant redundant than leave bits out.
I'll clean things up in the morning. If you have any questions I'll try to answer...
So I found the old post from the last time I tried running this story, and it's just a wee bit more detailed than what I posted here. If you want to give it a skim I've reposted it below.
That's a fair assumption. That and they'll be taking a longer route to avoid cities. One can't be too careful when taking their murderous prisoner for a walk.
The assassin doesn't know the why, or even who came to the guild with the job. Whoever it was had to have paid a lot of money though, with the target being a king and whatnot. Generally the assassin's guild avoids taking jobs that could endanger their autonomy from the political world. Who...
