I'll be taking some time off this site, sorry to those who have asked for a reading and received none.

Readings are coming, I've just had everything possibly imaginable happen to me at once.

    Opinion Bullies.

When you are the one constantly getting bullied sometimes the only way to feel better is to move the target onto someone else (I speak for experience), it may be wrong, but what is really wrong is how kids that age are educated. Bullies aren't born.

Chitchat Where does most of your intelligence lay?

I'd say arts, social studies and culture (particularly religion in culture).

    White knighting. Cute.

    They're questions regardless.

Here's my thoughts on your questions. I suspect they will clash with yours. Yes I do if it's a healthy relationship. To me the moment one of them leaves the school they are no longer teacher and student. They are A teacher and A former student or vice versa. I'd say it depends on the people...

Come on that is so unrealistic. Affection and love don't wait for a few years, they need to be nurtured. If you wait they might fade. Who meets someone they click with and just goes "Sure just wait for me for a couple years before we get together"?

Everyone's views can change as they become more experienced, this is my current view. We obviously have different ideas about family, religion and maturity. I exposed mine as clearly as I could, I can find nothing else to elaborate on.

Of course both our views can be valid. I wasn't trying to assert my view's validity over yours. I was simply trying to show why I think my views are valid, just like you did with yours. As a last thing I'd also like to point out that even in the original post I never said that your relatives...

Yes I was making assumptions about the family, so were you about the relationship, we're all making assumptions here, it's what I've been saying since the beginning. How does it make my view flawed but yours not? About the gay thing then yes, I'd have a major problem with my family if they...

    Opinion Teacher-Student relations.

I simply meant that if your family disapproves of your relationship over futile motives then they're just hindering your happiness. I'll agree I worded it wrong in the first place, but yeah, I didn't mean cut off your family if they give you reasonable but unwanted advice or something.

Could you please quote where exactly I wrote the last two sentences?

    Opinion Teacher-Student relations.

Aside from your cryptic example. If you read my last posts you'd find out that cutting off your family at the first sign of disagreement is not what I actually believe.

Of course, if there's a way to come to a pacific solution then by all means it should be taken.

Obviously I don't think they should just go "Fuck off I'm right". I just think they should try to come to a mutual understanding.
  17. Project Naiad

    Opinion Teacher-Student relations.

That seems to reinforce my point: just because a relationship isn't "socially acceptable" it doesn't mean it can't end well, like it did for your relatives.

    Opinion Teacher-Student relations.

In my eyes it is a hypothetical scenario, because op worded it with so little details that it could be open to several different interpretations with several different answers. Yes they might give you advice. And that advice isn't bound to be right. Also a #? Really?

    Opinion Teacher-Student relations.

I support looking for one's own happiness and path, and sometimes that means cutting off some paths. And yes I assume it is a healthy relationship because if it was unhealthy I would actually agree with you. I think I understand the main point where we disagree is that you think this scenario...
