I'm allowed to have an opinion. If you used text speak in a resume, cover letter or college paper you'd be laughed at. I judge people based on spelling. If they have a learning disorder, then I understand, but there's rarely an excuse, especially at a computer to be lazy and use text speak. /rant

I cannot stand it. The only time I use it is in a situation where I'm either goofing around or need to reply to a text extremely fast. Even then I feel dirty xD No one gets hurt by it, but in my eyes (and the eyes of many others) it denotes a lack of intelligence. Phones and keyboards both...

I've been Rping for 20 years, I do all this stuff and include people. I do what I can to keep things moving, but the way things have been going I'm better off adding my RP ideas to my unwritten novel pile.

It's not finding them that's the issue, it's keeping them posting. People quit without a word, vanish without a word, lose interest and don't say anything until I push and push for them to post. ._. It's just a vicious cycle that really gets me down because all my work goes to waste.

So many RP's, even ones I join die so fast. The ones that last the longest always seem to be ones I have literally zero interest in. ._. I'll just stick to lurking.

I took a break from RPN a while ago, because I got sick to gorramn death of me spending days and weeks, sometimes months building a world, storyline and the whole RP only to have it die after a few posts. So I came back, hoping things had changed. HAH. My reboot of my Skypirate RP has died...

Indeed. It just hurts that after all this time, after everything I've done to help her that suddenly I feel abandoned. ._.

There's all age groups here, plus, some of the younger ones RP things other than school RP. Judge not a book by it's cover! I can't quit roleplaying, It's been a part of my life for 20 years now and kept me alive through my angsty teen years and is a nice way to procrastinate instead of working...

As long as you mind your manners and follow the rules you'll be fine there. We're a decent sized community, in the American holidays the site is pretty busy... but once the kids get back to school, everything gets quiet. I don't like it. It's too quiet...

Some RP's area always open for players, some aren't. You're either going to have to search them out, look at the new RPs or hell... make your own! Ask in the shoutbox even, there will be people there who might have a non-kawaii RP for you to join.
