I would actually report those that do this. A warning from a Mod would suffice to help curb them. And by warning I mean a simple stop please, you're violating the sacred rules of RPN. I've seen people post "HI" only in intros like this user, and that is spam if it doesn't have more than 4 words...
Use the border-radius:some two digit numberpx; to round all edges of a box evenly. Use border-right(or left)-top(or bottom)-radius:some two digit numberpx; to round a specific corner but leave the other corners alone. Don't include the parenthesis though, it's either right only or left only...
In a hosted project? Or on the main site?
I have a question, did this not post the first time you tried to submit? I ask cause you have 4 threads of the same question. If not, be careful of spamming, RPN doesn't appreciate spammers.
So I was planning on making a self help tutorial/guide. And I want to make a To-Do list in the first post that other users can type in the input box and their response is saved on a list in my post. To do so, I would javascript capabilities. So I was wondering if Javascript was possible to do on...
So, I see a lot of people looking for help with some HTML coding issues. Some of them are easy to fix, others not so much. So, I was thinking. Why not make a post and have user post their own creative codes (that don't break the site or violate the HTML core rules). Posting these codes, be they...
This is a bit much, as it is pretty intrusive. You say that you can scan your bar code and then it validates that the information you provided was indeed correct. When to me, this seems quite flawed as there is a huge amount of personal security at stake if this were to be hack and someone knew...
html on this site is inline. you don't need classes or i.d. for things unless you are using them for organization only.
so you would <div style="border:something; background: something; something-else:something;">Content of something here</div>
Obviously you can include multiple div's and such
It doesn't do that with me. So I'm thinking it could be either a SQL error somehow with your account (highly, highly doubt it) or simply a guest that isn't logged in viewing it at the same time as you.
And besides what Musician said, the hosted projects are in essence, a clan of sorts. You and other members gather there for a specific purpose: to interact with others regarding various things. So having clans would pretty much be a waste of memory space and unnecessary as there are no...
Also if you choose to, you can ask someone that is HTML savvy to help create templates for you. It could save you a headache or two when trying to create your own. I remember those days. ^.^
Are you in the hosted projects area? This looks like you are in the pages of the modern/realistic rp which is completely different than the hosted projects. Evidence of this is that there aren't 182 pages in that category yet.
Deleting is not possible because it creates a lot of different problems. While staff could still see and even restore deleted posts, it was not an efficient process. Now when you hide things, you are literally just removing them from public view, but it is simply still sitting there and thus...
Also it probably won't work for your CS but when doing in RP template that you have chosen to style, you only need to do one inline <p>. Then turn off source and you can type your regular post. You don't have to inline every <p> this way which is SO nice considering the beta state it's in
This is the hardest part for me. I am used to doing CSS as you did here, mostly because that is how I learned in my first coding class. This type of CSS is good for building webpages and websites where you control everyrthing and it helps keep your design east to follow.
But as Musician...
So I looked at your code, and everything is fine except for a very common mistake. After border, you put = not : so the code couldn't be read. I double checked it by c/p your html and that little fix brought out the border. :D Hope that helps!
So I was wondering if there is a way for you to delete a forum in your own hosted project? Currently I have the unused forum hidden from everyone, but it seems a bit roundabout compared to simply deleting it. Will this option be presented in further updates?
Indeed. So when you close one <div> that is one box. Then begin the next box with the next <div>. Otherwise you are still within the confines of the first box and thus no matter how you try and swing it, you will not be able to create separate boxes.
Oh look, a box!
And here is the second...
I agree, such information shouldn't really be readily available for public viewage unless that person really wants that information out there. I say make it default that the amounts are hidden.
