I can whole heartedly recommend Wacom Intuos! I use a medium. It’s easy to get used to, and you can set 4 hotkeys on the tablet itself (like undo, etc) and 2 on the pen. It comes with 3 spare nibs too.
I can show you my settings on it in PMs if you decide on this one.
I am personally saving up...
1. Finishing a sketch only to realize it was done on the background layer. WORST.
2. When you know something’s wrong with the painting but can’t really pinpoint what makes it fugly.
3. 2AM back pains.
4. When the sketch looks good but the painting work turns out looking like you painted it in MS...
Ohoh I have another one:
Using overly pompous structures does not help assert your intellect in an argument and, on most occasions, results in quite the opposite by making it appear as though you are attempting to flummox the reader into relinquishing your debate, proving your statement is...
1. K-POP sucks solely because it promotes eating disorder culture.
2. Badass warrior female characters who deny their femininity and act all tough and 'not like other girls' suck. No, your character isn't unique. It's already been done way too many times.
3. Anime is annoying and shows a...
I’ve broken/sprained my ankles 6 times and none of it prepared me for tonsillectomy. Worst pain I’ve ever felt - you can’t swallow anything without feeling knives dig into your throat and ears.
- Okay huge pet peeve I’ve needed to get off my chest lately: when older people ask my why I drink coffee at ‘my age’. I go to university, I wake up at 6AM every morning, have to walk around a lot because we don’t have a campus and take classes in labs and hospitals, and come back home at 5PM...
1. Pink. I used to hate pink because everyone did and it was regarded as girly and childish. Now I see something pink and I automatically buy it. Even my prom dress was a dusty pink. For me it’s a symbol of femininity, strength and calm.
2. Twilight. Honestly it’s so bad it’s actually good.
I agree with @Crayons, the word ‘talented’ frustrates me even if it’s meant as a compliment. While I do believe some people have it easier when it comes to learning certain skills, everything takes loads of practice. I have been drawing constantly since I was a little kid and worked a lot to get...
Going through a surgery all laughing and cracking jokes even if the anesthetic didn’t work. It was hell afterwards but I’m surprised at how brave I was.
Most subjects are there to serve as a base for your future career/university studies. Even if you’re not interested in certain classes, they build a foundation of knowledge that sometimes proves to be useful in life, so you guys should take a break from underestimating the power of calculus and...
I paint digitally, and I have a thread up on this site where I post most of my recents (+ occasional tips): Commission - Fantasy Sketches, Grumkins and Snarks! ~ Let Me Draw Your OC!
I also play the guitar, although not quite as often as I used to, and I do some scrapbooking in my planner...
I’ve always wanted a tattoo, but lately I’ve been considering the risk of not getting jobs because of one. Of course, it depends on the job, but since I’m *hopefully* going to be a doctor, I can’t have any tattoos showing, so arms and legs are not options for me anymore. Anyone should keep that...
