Hmm, probably my character Troy. I usually play the stoic, badboy archetypes for one reason or another but Troy captured my heart for being so opposite. He is a larger-than-life sort of charater with an imposing, bulky figure and yet he is such a teddy bear. He has so many quirks and mannerisms...
Oh man, I've had a few. A lot of them were rps I didn't expect to enjoy so much! One involved a Victorian-era stalker blackmailing their victim into letting them live with them, another involved random high schoolers somehow getting swept up into a huge dramatic gang fight, another involved...
Hmm, I think the worst one I can remember was the time my partner and I came up with a plot idea together only for her to completely change it into something else within the first couple of posts. I'm not talking about the plot progressing with time, I am talking the plot changing SO MUCH that...
I've had cringey characters but I can't say that I've ever had cringey rps. Even the worst ones I can remember are at least unintentionally hilarious. Must be my point if view. Lol
I love Chik-fil-a! I'm especially in love with their frosted lemonade or whatever its called. Lol I'm lucky that the place I have near my house is super fast. Even if the line looks long, you hardly have to wait to get your food.
If I wasn't married... it would depend! I have some characters that would be too much of a handful for me personally (good luck everybody else!) but then I have others that are my darlings. Funny enough, I used to think of this question back in the day. Lol
I especially feel you on #4. I also feel awkward in general scrolling through pages of some stranger's modeling portfolio online to get an image that even sort of resembles a character I have in mind. Like you said, good luck finding anybody who looks like an orc for a fantasy rp.
Can I ask you a question? I'm not trying to be offensive but I've always been curious about this; why do you dress "alternative" if you actually don't want any attention drawn to you? I always used to wonder that stuff when I was in highschool.
When I have time I'll draw my own character. Normally I don't have the time to do that though. As to why I would, I can almost never find the right sort of picture to get across who my character is or what they look like for certain rps.
I work with themes and prompts. For example, maybe the prompt I give myself is "teacher" and then I'll start to ask myself questions based on the story setting like what kind of teacher? What are their classes like? Do they like their job? I just keep going until I have a vision of them and feel...
Had to write this one by memory.
One early morning while out touring, the Pope gets bored. He tells his driver that he wants to go sight seeing. His driver hesitates at first but eventually agrees to it and they hop into a limo. As they drive down a quiet country road the Pope begins to...
