I'm not going to make the RP a satire of Star Trek, but comedy has always been a part of Star Trek, so there's always going to be elements of that - I just can't make it the sole obsession of the RP.

You guys will be able to create your own alien race, or use existing ones. I just don't want to see God-like aliens or something. It will be a rushed launch, so yes, they'll just pile in anyone who's available, but they won't necessarily be junior officers.
