Cinerea is probably bisexual. As a Princess, she would have been expected to wed and produce an heir or heiress, regardless of her feelings. Well, Exalted aren't supposed to aim small, are they? :D

Hello! Still working on my Serenities. :) She was the Princess of Gem until the Arcane Fate ruined that. I think she views the Realm as a competitor and a leech to her family's expanding empire.

What essence level would we be starting at?

I'm familiar with Exalted, and 3e, at least in the fluff sense. I don't really grasp the mechanics all that well, which is why I wanted to play so I can get a handle on them. I'm interested in learning by doing, as it were. And in this campaign too! As for location, the West does sound good.
