Sendoff Day
JFK Airport
March 1, 20XX
"My first guess would have been that she wanted it to be special, but if it's a family tradition it might just be an old way of spelling it." Without any clue how far the name went back, Nathan did not even want to argue about the spelling. Such variances...

"It might just be me, but if you'd ask me to guess I probably would have spelled it Evelyn." But for all Nathan knew, it was possible that it was a very common name in the states.
"San Francisco is supposed to be a really beautiful city. I always meant to...

On the Plane
They had caught onto his accent, no surprise there, and Nathan wondered where they thought he might come from. Due to his mixed upbringing, and growing up bilingual his accent had always been a bit strange, a mix of the harder german accent and the softer...
Day of the Email
Vienna
February 1, 20XX
Snow was still in the air. Not that unusual for Vienna in February, and Nathan was actually happy about it. As much as he loved Rome, and all the things that he had been working on back there, he would never get used to the temperatures.

Actually, I would prefer Cinna. I have written him before, and I'm pretty comfortable with this type of character. That is, if you're okay with doing Katniss?
I don't necessarily need to double, I just wanted to offer it :) I like writing male characters, so I'd be fine with just doing Cinna.
My inner Effie probably will try to strangle me with her (no doubt gorgeous) shoe laces when I try to give Haymitch to someone else, so Cinna and Katniss might be the safer bet for me ;) (And I just really like Cinna, I think his calm presence always had a positive effect on Katniss.)
Although...
Still Terry Pratchett, ever since I first read that old paperback copy of "Witches Abroad" my mum kept on her bookshelf. (And back then I was young enough that I probably mostly found it funny because of the poor vampire that got eaten by a cat).
I still come back to the books every few months...
Cats, in most shapes and forms. I like animals that most probably would be absolutely fine with taken over the world after humanity is gone. (And they are cute on top of it.)
