He was smiling. Chastity's eyes narrowed at the oddness of the grin. "Why are you smiling?" she asked sourly.

Alec looked around, searching for something to steal his focus. He was surprised when the motorcycle halted to a stop. His eyes narrowed at Alex's explanation. He didn't strain his mind in search of what she could have in mind, he had known Alex long enough that it would be a waste of time and...

"That's for sure." Chastity said bluntly. She knew what it was like to keep things to herself.

Chastity sighed with a weak smile. "Fine," she bagan, turning her head to face him. "You'll break at one point. The harder you hang on to a secret, the harder it is to keep. I should know." she said simply, still distant, still caught up in her own world.
