Literally this. I'm not a fan of jumping on the bandwagon of "cancelling" people who others might deem problematic, especially with accusations as bold as being a doxxer. I'd need to see physical proof of it myself.
In one RP years ago I killed off an important NPC far too early in the story. Said NPC was always intended to die, but there's so much more I could have done with her before killing her :(
I'm one of these people and I already have to be in a very specific mindset to even write as it is. Due to my work hours and this there's periods where I'll just vanish without a trace for months. Most RPers are not that patient and willing to wait that long for replies. It makes the hobby tough...
When I use actors I tend to use a lot of lesser known foreign ones myself. Only rarely will I use an A-list Hollywood actor, typically because I feel they're PERFECT for the character they're going to be portraying.
I'm on a site that requires face claims and they have to be either actors, signed musicians, or signed models. Years ago I wasn't fond of this rule, but I have grown so used to it now. I just think of it as the actors and such playing yet another role. I mean, they're actors. They literally play...
As extensive as you want, really. Just make sure it's engaging for the reader, otherwise it'll be hard to find sincere interest for the RP. Personally I leave lore in RP's to a minimum as I know the vast majority of them die pretty quickly. I'd rather put that extra effort of lore building into...
Which I use really depends on what I'm writing, which sort of atmosphere I'm trying to convey, etc. Sometimes I'll even switch between multiple in a single story. At least this is the case in my personal writing.
In RP I always use past tense. Present tense in RP just feels off. It almost...
FF7 Rebirth. Only major complaint I have about the game is that there's way too many minigames. Some of them you're forced to play to progress the story as well.
Honestly, I like things like shapeshifting simply due to how dynamic it can be. That can be so many different things depending on the nature of the story.
Flashy elemental powers like pyromancy are cool too.
As pretty much anyone can attest to I'm literal trash at coming up with actual plots, but I'm great at character creation and worldbuilding. Because of that I rarely include plots I have interest in. However, I will at least include different genres and pairings I'm interested in exploring. At...
In a similar vein I hate when people put up an interest check thread, but then don't actually list what they're looking for. Some of the ones I've seen basically just say stuff like "I'd like to roleplay". Okay, so does everyone else here, lol.
Semi-related, but I was in a RP once where my partner made a really ridiculously over-powered NPC. I was like "Oh no, this is going to ruin the story", but in the end the character was actually an interesting addition and led to some important plot development. My partner was very careful about...
Hey, not all of us are dicks about Ace identities. Heck, I'm Ace and religious myself. Also, I would have thought religious people would more or less leave us alone as not having sex is actually seen as a virtue in many religions.
