As someone old enough to be the parent of some of those requesting 18+, I find it amusing. "18+ because I'm 20 and want people in my age range." I'm not in your age range either, kiddo.

I don't really worry about age much, myself. One of the first people I really enjoyed online roleplaying with was under 18, and none of us knew it until he told us he was going to be graduating high school soon and wouldn't be as available in college. So I learned long ago that age doesn't matter anywhere near as much as maturity and especially compatibility.
