mmm the phrasing on this is weird. 1 — i just don’t like making male characters, that’s why i only have like 4 or 5 out of all of my ocs in the past 10 years. 2 — when i say male names are cooler, it’s just like… easier to find cool male names than names for women, and usually the feminine version doesn’t sound as cool, if there is one. for instance : levi, sebastian, laurence, elijah, etc. they sound cool to me 😭😭 girls have cool names too but there are so many male names i’d like to use if i could just write a man

I dunno about with names, but I definitely feel the part about playing 99% female characters XD

i could just be looking in the wrong spots lolol. but yeah — for me, it’s partially because i use fcs and women are just… much better to look at <3 but also bc most of my male ocs turn out more or less the same.

I don't mind male characters. It's just what happens when I put them in roleplays sometimes is the issue. They always have to be the hero to some trouble-prone damsel who falls in love five posts in. Bruh, seriously? 😞

that’s another reason but less prevalent since i don’t do group rps no more. but yeah, i have had people trying to force ships with my male ocs a little more than they do with my ocs who are women.

And then they get upset with you when your character isn't equally head-over-heels for them in return. I've thankfully never had this happen to myself, at least not that I can remember, but it sounds really dumb and frustrating to deal with >.>

i guess my characters are just too… unbearably hot and desirable </3 it is what it is, it’s my cross to bear. /j
