I was going to go with the girl first because I usually play girls in video games XD But the game recommended the guy for new players, so I went with him first. I'll play the girl after this playthrough, see what's different there.
As for what I think of the game itself... It's interesting XD I like the idea of your Personas each having their own individual level, and I especially like the 1 More mechanic in battles. The actual exploration of the tower itself feels a bit clunky, but that could in part be due to it being on a portable console so I'm not going to hold that against it at all. Outside the tower, the whole time management thing reminds me a lot of Recettear, which I enjoyed as well, so I'm having decent fun deciding what to do with each section of the day.
Oh, and when it comes to starting battles, I made the mistake of assuming it followed Neptunia rules because they're so similar, but... Nope XD If you don't do anything the enemy still gets advantage even if they're in front of you. No big deal, just a little anecdote I thought was a bit entertaining XD

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yeah, going through Tartarus is a bit clunky, but it's worth it lol
