Oh! I was just skimming through different RP groups ^^ I highly recommend creating the forum with the initial post stating a detailed story/plot and setting or the idea. Images are also pretty eye catching for lots. Have some rules put out as well just so players have an idea of how they would be playing the RP if interested. Basically, I just recommend setting up a defined plot that people will read and get interested by! Since, I think, some people like having a definite plot set up already rather than brainstorming ideas ^^ But that's just my recommendations! I suggest just looking through other group recruitment forums so you can have an idea on how to put out an initial post to catch people's attention!

Thanks for the feedback! I try to do that, I personally like to keep a lot of what’s going to happen a secret, I have most of the story for each roleplay planned, but I also wanna give the RPers a feeling of freedom, I don’t want to completely control where the story goes, I want the characters to have an impact on what happens, though my descriptions could be a bit more detailed, if you have any ideas on how I could expand the description on the Mario rpg one I’d love to hear it. Having a set of rules would also help I must admit. Thanks again, I’ll definitely take this to heart

Ofc! Any good RP is also influenced by people's characters ^^ But people will get interested if the plot and world seem to be well organized! Since you don't want to reveal much of the plot, I highly recommend then to describe what the world setting will be as well as what the characters' positions in the story is while also explaining what is allowed and not allowed in character creation ^^ Like I also said before, pictures are very eye catching and just an overall well organized initial post draws people in. For me, having titles and pictures and an organized post are what draw me in, and the writing is what keeps me in <3
