I just saw this last week. I really enjoyed it so much when it played a second time I ended up watching it again.

It got me through high school whenever I was feeling down so it gets extra nostalgia points from me and I LOVE it. Such effective filmmaking on top of everything else... the director did an especially phenomenal job capturing all the little nonverbal communication bits.

Are you going to watch the new Emma movie?

Heck yeah!!! I've tried to watch all the Jane Austen film adaptations I can find. Even Pride and Prejudice and Zombies which had me SHRIEKING with laughter. Even if they're totally awful I feel duty bound to watch them. Emma was never my favourite protagonist but I looooove Mr. Knightley. They need to do a good adaptation of Persuasion. By far my favourite Austen novel.

I only recently even knew they made a new Emma movie myself. I watch P&P&Z as well, I also own the book... well, books taking classics and adding in zombies >_>;; I'm a zombie fangirl for horror stuff so *grabby hands*

Lol, maybe one day we should host a regency era rp *cackles* I loved Mr. Knightley. Emma is funny, but also not a favorite protag of Austen's.
