I've gotta work on economics later tonight. Managing and investing in stocks, analyzing 200+ page annual reports, suffering from a frying brain XD.

Wow....sounds stressful

Well considering I also got yelled at by two angered grandparents who were pissed I refused to get brought to church in order to work on said economic project, yeah, stress is something normal to me. I always get this kinda stuff from them every time I express my opinions on their religion.

I know the feeling

Oh my god someone I can relate with, finally!

My grandmother was preaching at me the other day when I told her I liked guys and girls and she was like; "You can't! Its demons influcing your mind! Christ compels the demons!" And she held a cross in each hand and kept saying "Christ Compels you!"

My grandparents preach to everyone and anyone every single chance they can get, no matter what. But hey, when I came home from yoga they asked me how it was and I said it was good, that the lady said to open our minds and relax. Then they gave me a 30 minute rant about not listening to those lies because it will allow satan to get into my mind. Like....seriously? It's pathetic.

Sounds like it. And stress builds up and up until you explode.

I try to remain as calm and patient as I can, but it's hard when I get yelled for every little thing I do that breaks their religious code. Then if I try to open my mouth and explain anything I'm suddenly disrespectful and disobediant. I try to vent stress as much as I can, but it buulds up wayyyyy to much.

Ikr? Its like you never can do anything good enough for them ever. And then you get yelled at and stressed out.

Exactly, if you don't do anything their way or you don't do what they want from you then your worthless. Because me being ready to go off to college, already having a decent job to assist in supporting me through college, have my own car, self sufficient, etc. It's all worthless to them because I'm not the picture child they wanted me to be with their religion leading my entire life.

I'm sorry for you

Don't be, I don't rant for empathy, I rant just to get some stress out and vent. Plus I know I'm not the only person who gets this kind of shit from their family.

Though I do appreciate it.
