It took me reading the comments on the video to realize that this was what happened, but Bardock literally going Super Saiyan over the plot of the movie is the funniest part of it, bar none XD
I don't care how you justify it, a world where a knife is unable to cut someone is one I can't really take seriously XD
It's like, okay, he's really powerful for his age. I'm *pretty* sure that doesn't affect the cutting power of a knife, or the ability of skin to resist a sharp object.
Well reason the characters can not instantly die from a simple blast is Ki barriers, but it's been shown it takes great concentration and focus to keel your barrier up... but Broly was a baby... so uh...
Yep XD I completely understand power levels being significant against things like Ki attacks. That I'm totally fine with. But - And I don't mean to hate on the series or anything by saying this - it's things like that, and having watched the original clip of Vegeta's Final Flash against Perfect Cell (5 minutes? Really?) that makes me think "Yeeeah, I don't think I'd enjoy watching this"
Which is a shame, because I've heard about (And seen clips of) some pretty cool scenes that happen in the original series. And I love some of the soundtrack too.
