He turned 17 two months ago, which is the age where it is perfectly legal to work 40 hours a week in my state.

Fucking hell! 18 hours is a max school week for avaliable working hours in Alabama, but then again its kind of an unspoken rule here, they wont mention the child laws unless you do.

Interesting... I wonder why kids here can work so much. Literally he's even a closer where we work and he's been able to work from 4 p.m. til 2 a.m. on weekends. Though, I'm honestly not sure if that itself is even legal

He did tell me he had to work a lot. But he never tells me why so I just leave it at that. I dont like prying.

Well, I'm from Tennessee so it is indeed legal for 17 year olds to work 40 hours a week. But it does say that 17 year olds can only work til midnight. And I'm not sure if he's been closing even before he turned 17. Oh well man, he probably has his reasons.

Yeah, I figured. It's just kinda interesting. I thought I worked a lot for a teen, and that's just cuz I plan to move out of my house in like 2 months.
