While I haven't had that specific situation, there was a time in my earlier childhood in which we had two fridges, one in the basement and one in the kitchen. We bought such a monstrous amount of milk that we stored most of it in the basement fridge, and there weren't a lot of lights down there so it was a dark, cold place that I frequently had to go into. I didn't like it xD
