I really don't like catfish XD
Did you know watermelon came from Egypt? In the desert?
Vagabond Spectre
Vagabond Spectre
How? How could such juicy fruit came from a place that dry?

My guess is that they used to be very very small, kind of like a fruit cactus that isn't a cactus. Then when they got more water, they got bigger!

Welp, that's just what I've been told. Could be wrong, it's just a guess on what could have happened.

They're not to bad, until you find one that is PISSED. In the several times I've gone hand fishing I've ran into 5 or 6 catfish that were not only pissed, but huge. One clamped down on my arm so hard I actually went to the hospital to make sure it didn't fracture my arm or wrist.

Vagabond Spectre
Like how big?
Raku
Raku
I believe it was around 5 feet long.
Vagabond Spectre
Vagabond Spectre
My golly... Where do even find those?
Raku
Raku
I had to go down south to get the bigger ones. Georgia was where I caught that one
Vagabond Spectre
Vagabond Spectre
Well, something that i've learned today.
Raku
Raku
I've caught bigger in Georgia, but they were on a pole. I don't dare try to get a 6 foot by hand

Do you do that for a living or some kind of hobby?
Raku
Raku
Well of course not for a living, I'm only 14. It's just a hobby of mine, my father, and his buddies. My older brother is too small to go fishing for the big ones.
