Fair enough. Hope he gets some of that experience soon XD (ain't exactly young himself nowadays). Nah, doubt Stryker would leave Lucha Underground, just saying. Also, someone comparable to JR in his younger days, so that they could develop him into some in house commentator later XD

A revamp would be best. I like JB but your right he's rather old now to improve much on his commentating. Move Pope to guest spots and interviews in ring like Brother love had but now a Pope deal maybe? Get rid of Josh, let JB stay in creative where he's part of now days. From what I've seen in articles.
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
Get a Young Jr like you mentioned and a good former wrestler turned commentator tomoair with them.
WanderingJester

Impact just needs a revamp, period lol. But yeah, I agree with everything you said :)

Yeah. I got hyped when I heard JJ was coming back and taking over wrestling operations. Liked some moves they made with a GFW and returns. But am underwhelmed so far in overall. Maybe they should lure/scout some talented Indy commentators and get a breakout star that way? Couldn't hurt at least. I think a Pope Special similar to Brother love would be cool and you've got Brother love himself in TNA.

How about trying Dutch on commentary? Xd
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
Yeah, I mean I understand though. Gotta take one step at a time, and unless they can secure a regular studio for them permanently, it's hard to do anything else. We'll see how their live events go once they're back. Glad they're rebuilding the bridge with Spike (at least in the UK). Hopefully that'll get more funding (and more freedom from management)
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
Maybe? He could work but it's a matter of making sure he can be paid enough to do it on the regular plus be on creative XD
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
True. But booking could be more entertaining Xd. The improvements on studio and setup would great and helpful to the product. They've rebuilt the bridge with spike? (Rebuilding I mean) good sign. True, hopefully that happens and management just stays out of wrestling operations. I've heard they migh be looking to patch up relations with the Hardys too.
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
True, but since Dutch is there it couldn't cost too much more. JB has been doing both though he is quite a bit younger. Xd
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
Mhmm. They've started and Spike's agreed to broadcast their stuff over in the UK, though the State side one is still on Pop. Yeah, it's always a problem when management can't keep their fingers off of micromanaging. Huh, never should have sold that broken gimmick over to WWE. Hopefully they at least fix the relationship even if they don't come back.
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
That's true, but then again JB's been in house for a while. We'll have to see though. Sad when a wrestler can jump on commentary and be better than you at your job (Magnus joining them last week when Josh was there -__- )
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
That's a nice start. Yes! Management and wrestling do not go hand in hand. Xd. True but I can't see anyone else doing the gimmick with success after the Hardys. Matt and Jeff should own it honestly. That's true, I agree there.
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
True. Magnus honestly just seems like a multi talented guy in the wrestling business though. Haha but true.
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
That's the problem, they do it too well. Now it's another money feed to WWE and I would honestly rather it go anywhere else just to fuel competition against it. Hell, throw a few f-bombs in there and it would fit right in with New Japan XD. yup yup
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
Yeah.... But can't blame the Hardys. Impact management screwed up with them. But i agree, other company's need such gimmicks and success to fuel the competition, the WWE has enough already.
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
I can't blame anyone for leaving impact tbh, as much as it saddens me to see them go (even Kenny King). Management messed up bad and you reap what you sow. Still, just wish for better competition in the states against WWE. Some options for more mature audiences of wrestling in the mainstream would be a nice contrast.
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
Can't blame them True. Would've been nice to see a big return with JJ's return. Like a major TNA name make a big surprise return. (Low Key was good, but not big enough in surprise) ROH could be really good with the right tv moves. They've got the new Japan partnership to make it huge in he states. I want to see another new company though.

But yeah I definitely agree with you (:
WanderingJester
WanderingJester
Mhmm, yup, but they have too much restrictions still to me. New Japan's role on the English standard's perfect for me lol, then again, not sure if that would fly with the FCC XD. Still, better some competition than none against WWE -__-
The Silent Z
The Silent Z
I haven't seen NJPW outside of ROH partnerships. But from what you've told me, they wouldn't last long with he FCC outside of HBO like channels Xd.

Haha we need A New era Ted Turner: but one who doesn't employ the hogans and bischoffs of the world.
