Then the same thing could be said for plants and fish and if that's the case, I'd rather be a tree than a bug or a fish. Fish and bugs are probably more aware of predators than a tree is so in a way plants should be the highest order of being. xD
That goes against the whole idea that bugs know their place in the world and their purpose and embrace both. They wouldn't be doing that if they didn't identify as what they are so in that case they definitely wouldn't be up for candidacy as the highest order of being. xD
