So I was just chilling, relaxing with an ASMR video. My cat had been running around outside all day so we left the door to the back open so that he could come in and out, I shut the door before I went to bed. Anyways, I'm watching the ASMR video, I'm relaxed, my cat is in his bed. But I wasn't alone on my bed. There's a huge 4 inch long spider at the end of my bed, I scream and start yelling "DIE" as I smack it

with the closest object (my phone) and my parents come into my room in the middle of the night to see me half naked beating a spider to death with my phone. They were pretty pissed off. Fuck spiders, I've got arachnophobia, I think. My first instinct was to run but you can't run from a spider in your room. So I just decided to best it to death.
