It's a stereotype, it's because with digital art, even know you can make it look cleaner than paper art (or whatever), it takes about as much practice learning the programs as it did learning to art in the first place.

@CabalAnomicPotato That was exactly my issue. It takes me hours only to try and mask a selection, since I still don't know all the commands in Krita. And I don't even want to remember the countless times I've abandoned a drawing because I rotated it and could not get it back to its original look.
