I'm actually rather curious as to how Switch will handle it given that they're pushing this as a hybrid console. I hope that this is the system where they finally get their online infrastructure into the present era. Party system, voice chat (really wanna talk shit while playing Smash, yo), unified account system for VC purchases. It's so disappointing that they're always behind in that regard due to arbitrary or even nonexistent reasoning.

Right? I'm not even that interested in the voice chat or whatever, since I can imagine kiddos playing pokemon or smash getting trash-talked by 20-something douchebags, I just want to be able to use freaking Pokemon Bank without shelling out for extra data to turn my phone into a hotspot.
