Well the thing about historic RPs is that it tends to get... Dry.
I mean its interesting yes but historical accuracy usually (note the usage of this word) makes things dry and dull. I guess you can make things historical but not so accurate. Like Battlefield 1. Semi-auto rifles everywhere, more then 20 A7V tanks and drowning in mud isn't a hazard.
