@Chrysalism I've heard those forever ago. Nothing ever happened. Nor did my anything die because I didn't like a facebook post. In theory, same thing.

Seen some weird shit in my life; Stalked by a man that was claimed dead, Three faced dog, The legit inability to dream, Near death consciousness, And a person who survived contracting three types of terminal cancer. Tell me again there isn't a chance for it to be real?
Flooffy

Anyone can claim to be a person. Animals that grow together, even humans, while in the womb happen. Siamese twins for example. Inability to dream is a known phenomenon, but since we still don't understand the brain to 100%, it doesn't mean there is no logical explanation and near-death consciousness isn't that rare. Many claim they've had that experience.

There are a lot of people who've survived situations deemed to be deadly. Like a kid who got run over and ended up with minor bruising.

That doesn't mean that there is a boogeyman that can haunt you for hearing a story.

Then explain this! The shadow people at the corner of someone vision, one man even claimed to of been strangled by them, and proof was found by the bruising around his neck.

Why do schizophrenics see people and hear voices? Why do they think that they need to spoon their eyes out? Or scratch themselves?

And phenomenons where people dream of an event in the future that eventually happens?

Can you truly believe everyone says the truth? People still think that the alexandria's genesis is real.

I can say that I have foreseen my scar on my hand and it really happened. Does it make it true? Of course now.

Why hasn't the prize for actual fortune telling, which is millions of dollars STILL not be claimed if they truly could foresee it?

Still, You can't explain everything, such as why the answer the life the universe and everything is 42

Just because we cannot explain them yet, doesn't mean it doesn't have an explanation.

centuries ago people couldn't imagine a gun.

decades ago, people never would have understood the internet.

Hell, people used to believe the world is a huge pizza. Our understanding grew... and will grow.

Then explain something that will never be explained, the relationship between the understanding of science, and the belief in God, they exist equally and work together, yet they compete and clash, why so?
Flooffy
Flooffy
Because people believe that one must be wrong for whatever reason.

Religion is not my thing, I personally have no opinion on the matter. It people feel they need it, go ahead. But that doesn't make it real.

It might be a god for all I care... I wouldn't make me change my mind, that I just don't need it personally. But so far, science has no proof for it. Some find it hard to believe in something without real proof; a book is what it is, a book, one could also say Harry Potter is a true book in that sense.

People also enjoy arguments.

And the mysteriousness of Stone Henge? Surely there is an answer for ANY of the seven wonders of the world, correct?
Flooffy
Flooffy
What Trust said. There are evidence implying that tribes that were differently advanced lived at the same time.

There are many tribes that still are living like our ancestors in stone age. They must believe our cities must be mysterious and explainable.

As I said, I have nothing against religion; I am neutral to it, so I see no need to insult it.

THen here is something that can never be explained, neither by science or religion. The way humans work prevent this statement from being reached with an answer other then "Money" or "Democracy". So I will make it clear. How does one achieve a higher state of power within life? Not in a community or on this earthly plain, but in life it's self?
Flooffy
Flooffy
this should be good... higher state? What is that? Here I thought all humans were equal.
_VINYL_
_VINYL_
Not as so, well all humans are humans regardless of how you look at them, some people are out to seek a higher state of mind, and have. The Russians conducted a experiment on a old man who ad nothing more to live for. The removed all his sensory nerves, the ones connected to the brain, and watched what happened. At first nothing truly happened, he had no sense of pain or such, they removed his eyes, he was unable to hear, smell, feel or touch or even taste, so he acted crazily. Until later on he was muttering non-sense, gibberish, and even without the ability to see, he somehow claimed to of contacted god... but this is where the failure comes in, they were so close. The man, even without the ability to see, stared one scientist dead in the eyes and said these words... "I have spoken with God... And he has abandoned us..." He passed out dead and the scientists were rather confused. The experiment might or might not of been successful but with this it is proven people seek a higher state of mind, and with technology of the modern age, it may be growing ever closer to us.

So. Because a man who went mad due to being completely cut off from the world mumbled that, it makes it real? Sweetie, people go crazy for less things. People who are isolated more so than others. People can die out of sheer loneliness, because we're a social species... that doesn't make them a higher state...

Sweetie, Where do you get off assuming my gender mate?! Look at the "About Me" of people before you do that!
