It's been made a rule because people haven't civil and respectful to each other over such issues and they don't want more negativity on the site ^.^

That rule only said that we had to "try to", not that we "need to". Anyways, we would need the RPN execution squads to manage it.

I would pack it in now if I were you. No matter how many status updates you're going to make protesting the rule, it isn't going to change like you want it to. Just accept it and move on. The staff volunteer to help keep the site running nicely for the userbase and it isn't respectful one bit to mock us.


@Boethiah We'll change that. You NEED to keep political discussion off of the site, or there will be consequences. It's not that we're butt-hurt at all or take pleasure out of punishing users-  we just want to keep things peaceful and happy. There are other places that you can take your debates, just please not here.

Not to mention, with what I've seen, people have been civil. Of course the people who haven't could've had their posts deleted, but still, people can have peaceful talks, and a good amount of people also use Satire, as in the first political post I made early this morning. 


I get it though, it is what it is.


Also I don't care if the rule changes or not, I'm going to mock it either way. On or off the site.
