Oh. Well okay then. Sorry I got all lecture-y on you then. It was just bad timing because we literally just dealt with a bunch of mean people leaving rude comments on our fic, and I just don't understand why people do that. Like, if you don't like something, just stop reading and find something else. There's no reason to leave a hurtful comment on somebody else's work.


And a lot of people are quick to attack and undermine fanfiction in general, and the way you were commenting just came off that way. Sorry I took it wrong.


But I'm not the type of person to hold a grudge. It was a misunderstanding on my end, and a nice apology on yours, which I very much appreciate. Thank you for taking the time to clear it up.  A lot of people wouldn't do that, so really, thank you very much and no hard feelings now that I get where you're coming from. That actually shows quite a bit of maturity on your part for "just some stupid kid."

it's okay, trust me, i understand. um, i write quite a bit of fanfiction myself and find it really difficult to deal with criticism. negative comments literally haunt me for months on end. 


i, in no way, meant to undermine your fanfiction. fanfiction is definitely one of the greatest art forms out there and some of the greatest stories i've ever read have been fanfiction- i've read some that have been more enjoyable than actual books! 


if you wanna link me to your fanfic, i'd be curious to take a look at it. which site do you use? i'm an ao3 writer myself!

Ah, yes, AO3 all the way! You just have more freedom on it than other sites.


The series I'm referring to is in the band BTS fandom. Idk if you're familiar with kpop bands at all. I'm not going to make you read something you're not familiar with, lol.
