I don't you should include being social or volunteer work as things you have to do as opposed to what you want to do. By which I mean including that as RIP reasons belies viewing it as a burden.
The thing is though, for me school is a whole awful lot. By the time I get to your age school on it's own will be a breeze. It's all about ages. I'm sure when you were my age you were feeling the same way. So I guess congrats for one-upping me but in all honesty we're clearly at two different stages of life and comparing them is a bit ridiculous.
Hopefully. It's okay if he's just venting, but I guess I don't like the end part with the "[...]then you can tell me about RIP" since it makes it sound like a competition and I don't like that stuff.
Yes I do love monitoring people's statuses so I can try to convince them how much more stressful my life is than theirs, it is my sole motivation for waking up in the morning. Also, depending on your college volunteering isn't optional, and if you want to succeed in and out of class, neither is being social.
I'm not fighting anyone, my intent was to show that everyone has a difficult life, it's more important to accept yours and trudge onward than to dwell in the obstacles.
