Also, classes would probably be literature, arts, language (especially if neighboring countries have different different languages) as well as horseback riding. Cooking would most likely be done during free time when no one is looking >.>
Princes/Princess would have classes in the afternoon, (as that would be the time with greatest light to read and write.) Horseback and fighting exercises would be held in the morning, and in the later in the afternoon would be reserved for politics, banquets, and other things.
Kings would mainly deal with foreign relations and their own with their own people. King Charlemagne is a good example. He rode out personally to each city under his rule and bonded with the people in a lax manner.
The Queen advises the King, but more often appears to be a figurehead. They often have great wit, if they choose to be what commoners deem 'good,' and will give money to the Church and the poor, along with supporting orphanages and such.
Kings/Queens probably have a lot of political BS to do, with free time.
Or if you're a bad ruler, decide everything in 15 minutes, go eat, invite the hookers and party till you drop.
