I wish Deathstroke was in it. Deathstroke needs more spotlight. Deathstroke is great

@The Endergod We were lucky to get Killer Croc though they did say Kingshark was originally gonna be in it. Probably'll be in the sequel :P

@P U C K I'm glad with what they've done with her in the film and recent comics, made her more independent and even able to break Joker's hold on her. She deserves to be her own character :)  And omg in the film she calls him Mr. J and Puddin and I'm like aaaah!

There's no way it's not, it's on its way to 300m and it's it's first week.

Yeah, but it's riding on a nice 26%.

Pfft, Rotten Tomatoes and critics don't decide if a movie is successful: The fans and audiences do, and they have thankfully.

Yeah I agree with @The Endergod The studio cares more about what critics think than the masses and even then the masses find the film mediocre.

I hear that the story is awfully convoluted, the villain is super weak, Joker is meh, and that the best part of the film is the characters and even then there are only a few stand out performances, namely Viola Davis, Will Smith and Margot Robbie.

Lastly the studio of course got involved and changed a bunch at the last minute. The movie was also edited by a trailer editing company. Let that sink in

Next time let the Director have his freedom and stop trying to make a R-rating concept PG-13

That is just what I have been told. I love comic book stuff but this movie didn't interest me too much. Plus no deathstroke >.>

Dude the masses are loving the film, it's the critics who have this hate-boner for DCEU who are tearing down every DCEU movie that comes out. And David Ayer has publicly said that the rumor that the studio interfered is bull, he's said that the cut we've got is HIS cut.

The masses maybe PAYING to see the movie in droves but that doesn't mean they love it. The hype got the best of them in this scenario. I mean, so far the DCEU hasn't had a good start. And if that really is his cut, then it is pretty bad apparently. I mean, if you want a fun, action packed movie with a few good performances, then it is a perfect movie.

Plus if it gets a sequel it won't be till 2020 due to DC's full slate till 2019.

Also you hear Man of Steel 2 is happening?

Dude if you look at Twitter and actually look up FAN reviews...instead of critics complaining that Deadshot shouldn't use guns because gun violence and Harley is a sexist stereotype, you'll see that most people thought the movie was fun. There's no other reason to watch a film than to enjoy it, and hype has nothing to do with it.

DCEU has had a great start, far better than Marvel's IMO, just because a snobby film critic has an agenda to hate on anything that isn't Marvel doesn't make a film necessarily trash.

If you haven't seen the film, you really don't know if it's good or bad do ya?

You're basing your criticism on the film..on hearsay.

Man of Steel 2....finally.

Most of my friends that have seen it didn't really enjoy it, and some are hardcore comic book fans. I never said I sided with the critics, I am just saying that they do have quite a bit of weight in DC's eyes. Personally I go and see movies for their good stories and strong antagonist and protagonist, not just a joy ride. Of course I occasionally will, but I prefer story to explosions.

Well, I think Man of Steel was a very good start to the DCEU but I mean after that they had BvS, which was pretty bad. I refused to see it due to the trailers not interesting me. I hear Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot were good. I still think Marvel did better due to they opened with Iron man which is just great imo.

No I don't know if it is good or bad, but I do like to take other fans opinions on it, which are mixed,

Yes, hearsay because I can't really go see a movie with two broken legs and no money now can I :)

It is odd since BvS was supposed to be the sequel. Still I like Man of Steel so I am excited. Now Wonder Woman is what I am most excited for.

I honestly liked it, but I didn't love it. BvS is good if you watch the Ultimate Cut, because the theatrical version has so many gaps and plot holes due to sloppy editing that are filled by the Ultimate Edition. Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck were wonderful, Ultimate Edition gives us more Clark Kent and Superman than the theatrical did too.

I stopped trusting critics and movie journalists when BvS was said to be downright terrible and I watched it and loved it.

Well...BvS was switched back and forth between being a Justice League set up to a MoS sequel..but I think they've settled on it being Dawn of Justice as the title said :P

I REALLY hope they have Brainiac in MoS 2.

Yeah, I hear the Ultimate Cut is pretty good, so I may try and watch that one. Yeah, if the studio let it be the ultimate cut then it may have been better received but no one wants to watch 3 hours of anything these days.

I never trusted movie critics or any type of critics in general. If the new Rogue one movie is the worst movie ever by critics, I am still gunna see it because it is a star wars movie xD

Yeah, I think it is a hybrid of a Justice League Set up and a MoS sequal

I don't know who I would want as the villain. TO me he has always had weak villains :/

I agree with the critics on this one because the movie seemed like it was going to be much better in the trailers and from what we've heard in the interviews.

If they were judging it based off the comic then it deserved the rating that it got. Slipknot lost his arm in the comics not his head so they just killed off one of the original members right there. Rick Flag wasn't even in a relationship with Moone so they had to had that in there for some reason instead of casting a person to play his actual love interest.

Joker was a little too in love with Harley Quinn in the movie and that was the first thing I noticed and couldn't get over.

Whatever, it's unfair to nitpick the movie like that based on what you personally wanted from it or expected due to reading the comics.

Not one critic is right on this one, there's an anti-DC agenda and they're never going to stop spewing hate about the DCEU. Like it or not, the DCEU is here to stay.
