People at my job do that all the time. Lol

In person! I can't wrap my mind around that either, lol.

perfect strangers should normally be ... so blatantly rude and horrible to ... perfect strangers ... because we are all ... perfect strangers ... to each other ...

We should be rude because we're strangers? I'm not following, and have to disagree.

survival instinct

Maybe. I don't know. I don't see how calling someone names and comparing them to yourself, as if all your ways and opinions are the only ways, is a survival instinct. It isn't productive and doesn't get anyone anywhere.

Instinct to me, means surviving (obviously) but also moving forward and progressing to make life better for all. Not making it hard and stressful for everyone around me. But maybe I'm just broken, lol.

making life better for everyone is an ideal ... the problem with perfect strangers is that they are ... perfect strangers ... people about whom we know nothing ... especially about their intentions ... whatever they may hide

I'm not arguing that at all. You definitely never know who someone is, even if you think you do. And you certainly can't judge based on appearance. What I'm having a hard time understanding, is why people feel the NEED to judge everyone else so harshly, and to the point they can call them horrible names and wish for their deaths over something as simple as not having the same opinion over something.
M
Mr Djallal NAMRI
calling people names and wishing for their death just because they are perfect strangers is a bit exaggerated in my opinion ...
it is said that when in doubt you should refrain
it should also apply in the case of human relations
I watched many of these TV programs that tell stories of crimes ... there were many cases of encounters gone wrong ... people who trusted other people they did not know ...

Yeah, I'm definitely not saying to trust strangers. I'm talking about people cursing each other out and telling other people to go off themselves over ridiculous things. It's everywhere, and usually online where people can hide behind their computer screens.

we are educated and brought up in the competition since early childhood
most of our verbal exchanges begin with "no" ... by denying what our interlocutor has just said ... answering with the opposite and / or denial is a common reaction in society ...behind this there's the fear of the little child facing an unknown world ...
