My old community was centered more around self-adornment as well fancy edits and word choice> People here actually care to develop a character and storyline. The people here are the real artists.

Oh, that sucks. I think fancy edits and artful word choices are fantastic qualities to have, but without a well-developed character and story line, it's pretty pointless. I definitely agree; the people here are real artists.
