I totally thought about starting a roleplay RSO at my university... But I used to work for the guy who is in charge of groups on campus, and I know he'd look at me like: Wtf, no
@Tiny Dancer it's after midnight where you are? Haha. It's almost 8:30AM here! Haha. @Ami the breadling, well if either you or Tiny Dancer feel up to a one on one, feel free to message me! :D
THREESOME YAS. Exciiiited. Tiny, I love you already. Seriously. I usually play male and female, both. Haha. Ummm.. How do either of you feel about medieval fantasy? XD
I took, like, a four or five year-long break then. Haha. I considered it quitting then, though, because I want to be an author, and it seemed I forgot how to be inspired on my own. So I've been mapping and outlining and kicking writer's block's butt... Now that I'm settled in my plot, I wanted to jump back in, start over. So... maybe I didn't totally quit, but for a while there, it really, really felt like it.
No matter how long the break, it'll come back (especially since you want to be an author). Think about it here: What's roleplaying? Collaborative... WRITING! You can't escape that as an author and I'm so happy you didn't. It's always nice to gain inspiration, and motivation from others. It helps you rationalize your own ideas.
