Ok? The school setting is stale as hell especially when it's so overdone. There's nothing interesting about it unless you add other things to it. not to mention most of the characters on the those roleplays are just cardboard cut-outs or self-inserts. If you want argue with that fine but don't say it's invalid.
I don't mean to be a jerk but your roleplay is fairly simple and barebone most of the character sheets I'm reading are barely a paragraph long and the characters lack any complexity.
I'm sure there are a couple of good ones but, on the whole, it's just a bad setting that exacerbates the writing problems this site has. Nothing here has to be a masterpiece but I would just like people to have higher standards.
It's not elitism to say that it would be nice if people tried more. I'm not trying to force people to do anything or look down on them personally; I was just expressing my viewpoint on roleplays. Right now most roleplays just look bad and uninspired. People can write better roleplays than what we have right now. And just because something is popular it doesn't make it good.
If your definition of elitist means having better expectations then fine so be it. I've made very clear that people should just try to improve their roleplays. Even if they write one more paragraph or add a sentence they are still improving the quality of roleplays on the site. How is that a bad thing?
I'm sick of poems
This is my last haiku, dude
cant keep making these
Anyway, i meant forget my elitist post in my previous post. But there are three levels of RP's on this site. I think a detailed or casual-detailed would be more to your rhythm, you can't really try to improve simple RP's because their meant to be ... simple
Alright sorry if I was being rude to you. But even the casual and detailed ones are still somewhat barebone. Anyways let's agree to disagree regarding this. Have a good day.
