Hexerei: The Riftrealm (CS Thread)

This is the character sheet thread for Hexerei: The Riftrealm roleplay. Before we get into the form there is an important aspect of character creation which will make differences in combat in the roleplay.

Your character's powers are attuned to their personality traits, their likes, and their dislikes. Something as simple and classic as super strength, or something like controling and creating fire.
It can even be as silly as making strawberry grenades and controlling plant-life.
Also, powers should be catergirized as Physical, Neutral/Magic, Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Electric, Dark, Light.
Daemons will have strengths and weaknesses and certain categories will be more effective in battle than others. Speak to me.if you feel we need a category of your own for your power.
Think about your character's powers and what fits them most, and you can make something interesting and uniqie.
Please remember the powers come from the crystals and objects made of them. Somewhere in your form, preferably in backstory or weaponry, I recommend mentioning the item.

Character Name: Revalia "Snapshot" Stone

Age: 23

Sex/Gender: Cis-Female

Personality traits: Revalia is a kind and gentle person. She is an optimist and tries to look on the brighter sides of most situations.
She has an itch for discovering new and interesting things and a thirst to see what the world has. She's curious and adventurous, never restricting herself from going where she wants when she wants to. Sometimes this mixes her into some bad places, and she's seen a few fights. Despite this her cheerful attitide has always stayed just that. Cheerful.

Likes: Photography, Writing articles, Blogging

Dislikes: Pitch Black spaces. She has Claustrophobia as well.

Backstory : Revalia was always fascinated by things as a child and loved to explore outside and talk with people to learn about them. She had always taken a major interest in science studies too and often found herself in her adult years reporting on scientific discoveries. She was well renowned in the business as having a sharp mind and a keen eye, as her photographs and writing were second to none in her industry.

Catching wind of this during a new scientific breakthrough, the people of the Hexerei Military based saw this and decided to offer her an opportunity to report on their findings and study under them. Eith glee she accepted, quitting her job at her home city and leaving for the base.

Upon reaching there, the scientists had just discovered the rift,and asked if Revalia would take pictures inside of the world. Skeptical... She went in and, lo and behold they weren't lying to her. She immediately snapped photos and left back for the base. The issue was... Her photos looked fragmented and distorted.she tested her camera and everything was fine, so she was upset and rather dissapointed.

However,upon seeing the scientists cutting the gems into various shapes, she requested they make her a lens. They assumed she had sound reasonings, and decided to do so, which led to a breakthrough. The lens made real world pictures fragmented and broken... But pictures taken in the Riftrealms now properly apeared. It was bitter-sweet for Revalia... But she was still happy about the new opportunity she had. Excited by all the possibilities, Revalia decided to stay with them all to study this world.

Power Name: Battle Snap

Power Category(ies): Light

Power description/uses/abilities:
Battle snap is a very unique ability in that it is the only power which can record data on Daemons for outside world use. When a daemon has it's picture taken by the user, all information about it that is possible for the crystals to read is shown. Not every daemon is as readable as others, so details are sometimes foggy or even just missing. Despite this,it is still a powerful tool as she can record this in the beastiary and call out potential weaknesses of the Daemon's she and her team are fighting.
Aside from this, the ability is fairly lackluster. She shoots energy spheres from the camera lens that travel and deal light-based damage. On occasion she can do a snapshot temporarily blind the enemy. In dark areas she can use shutter and strobe lighting effects with the camera to allow for visibility.
Its in battle potential isn't much, but it is a helpful tool for her allies to know they can utilize.

Power Description:
When Laurel gets angry, she can turn into a flaming daemon that can manipulate fire and lava.

Laurel is feisty. She doesn't look for trouble (even thought she loves it), but trouble usually finds her. She has a short fuse and knows how to fight. Don't get on her bad side, cause she will make you wish you didn't cross her. Her tough facade aside, she is really a sweet girl. She gets attached to people easily, but she doesn't like to show it.

Biography:
When she was a little girl, she was orphaned in the Daemon world. Her mother had died of plague and her father of... Well, she doesn't like to talk about it. She learned to make a living for herself by thieving, begging, and later in life, becoming a prostitute. She was wandering in the forest when she found what she thought was a hole, something glittering at the bottom. She reached inside, then fell in. She then found herself in the human world.
