Hi everyone!
Since I'm fairly new here I decided I should introduce myself to you!
My name is Noel (well, it's actually not, but I prefer to use Noel over my real name).
I'm a high school student, mainly focusing on math and physics (because languages suck, except for English), and in my free time I've been role-playing!

I started out with a friend I had just met on the internet, role-playing as my favourite character from the musical Hamilton. I enjoyed it so much, I urged most of my online friends to make a kik account and join the fun.
With these friends from all around the world, I created universes and stories. Some were good stories, with an enjoyable plot and logical characters. Others were... not. Either way I learned a lot.

About a year into role-playing, an irl friend of mine, a total nerd just like me, invited me and a bunch of others to play a game of D&D. Being a huge fan of RPG's I couldn't refuse. This was my first introduction to tabletop roleplays, and it motivated me to role-play even more than I already did.

I did however, after a while, realise some of my friends weren't that good at roleplaying. Some of them barely replied, leaving me on read for sometimes months. Others made the story about just their character, creating annoying Mary Sues and ruining the fun for me. After a while, I was left with only a handful of people to roleplay with. My dear friend Katie on kik, and some irl friends playing D&D with me (they're newbies though, and I have to DM :( ).

And that's why I joined this place!
I hope I can get used to the site so I can quickly start role-playing with people!

Thanks!
Noel
