Name:
Marx "Drunken Reaper" Blackwing

Age:
22

Gender:
Male

Faction:
Military/Survey Corps - Squad 3 Member

Personality:
Marx is a drunk. It's the largest and most obvious trait about him. He drinks almost constantly and his in an unending state of drunkness most of the time. No one really knows why he consumes so much alcohol, but most put it down to addiction. Marx is generally a "go-with-the-flow" type of guy, finding humour where there is little to laugh at and often not taking much seriously. Whilst his attitude may appear carefree, foolish and quite vulnerable, it is actually just an outer layer to his true self.

A sober Marx is a cold, calculating and indifferent Marx. Unafraid to kill and sacrifice by any means to get to the needed results, Marx is precise, ruthless and very no-nonsense in the way he conducts himself at all times. Deemed one of the most deadly and talented fighters of the Survey Corps, Marx's profound ability to execute, something that is usually kept hidden by his drinking habit, has given him the wary title by his peers of the "Drunken Reaper".

Background:
Marx came from a village somewhere up North that was completely transfixed with religion and the titans. It got the point where they believed some god was holding in their inner titan, preventing them from breaking free and killing everyone. The only way to aid god in this endeavour was to sedate your titan - with a lot of liquor. Of course, that did not mean they were all drunkards, despite it being commonplace for down to 10 year olds being abke to drink. Martial arts, prominent in some regions, was overbearing in this village. Everyone had to learn it, drunk or otherwise.

So this was the environment Marx had grown up in. And unfortunately for him, he was apparently 'special'. The village people thought he held a Titan equal to the colossal Titan with him and that succhba threat must be subdued indefinitely unless another terrible incident should happen. It was all he could do to stop them from killing him but tl agree to get wasted out of his mind. Marx wasn't overly religious or scared of the titans as the village people were, but by the time you had grown up drinking around a village of drunk people, it kinda rubbed off for life. It was almost a relief to him when the village was destroyed in a Titan attack.

So Marx had joined up with the army, training half-heartedly whilst sneaking about drinks everywhere to keep up his real 'training'. He had practised loads of swords skills, hand to hand combat and the use of 3D Maneouvre gear in his village (although he had no idea how they got the equipment) so he took it easy most of the way until he was needed. And it seemed that today was apparently he day he was needed.

Other:
Marx is highly skilled in a "drunken martial arts" style of close-combat, a style that relies on random fluid motions to deliver deadly blows, making him very unpredictable - much like his personality.

Marx's skills are not undermined in any way when he is drunk and he utilises his "Druken Fist" style of fighting with it. Marx is supposedly unparalleled when it comes to physical human combat or 3D Manoeuvre Gear combat, but no one has ever fought him when is he sober to test that. His kill count for titans is ridiculously high though, apparently, although he believes he has lost count.
