Name: High Septon “The Just One” (Formerly Ser Benedict Bracken)

Gender: Male

Year of Birth: 306 AC

Title(s): High Septon, His High Holiness

Marital Status: Sworn to celibacy

Personality: "A life devoted to the gods is a life well lived" An oft repeated phrase amongst the clergy of King's Landing and one that is often parroted by Septons and Septas in times where their faith is called into question not just by the words of others but by their very own minds. But what does is mean to be devoted to the gods? Is it to say the prayers and sing the hymns laid out in such ancient works as 'The Seven Pointed Star'? Is it to erect great monuments and Septs like those in King's Landing and Oldtown so that testaments of your faith may live on for future generations to see? Or is it to ensure the predominance of their words, to enforce their laws, and to exact their justice onto those that break them. We may never know, and though over the years many interpretations have been made over what it means to be devout no one Septon has ever claimed to know the true meaning of piety. At least until the ascension of Septon Benedict 'The Bold' to the position of High Septon.

Stalwart in his beliefs and hard upon non believers, the man formerly known as Ser Benedict Bracken is very serious about his faith, so serious in fact that he views those who do not follow it as subhuman, on par with the dirt upon his boots, or the slave trading savages across the sea. He views a man of faith to be superior, more intelligent and generally better than the heathens that hide in the lands north of the neck, or the sacrilegious iron born cowering on their islands praying to driftwood and the sea beneath their ships. In fact the High Septon despises that his grace has allowed such men to remain in his Kingdoms for so long, men that so openly defy the laws of the seven.

The High Septon is somewhat petty and incredibly judgemental to everybody, often abusing confessionals to find out secrets about members of the court, from their sisters, wives and daughters, secrets which he will blatantly use to blackmail officials, claiming that there is nothing that can be hidden from the gods. In the past such behavior has put him at odds with the small council, especially the Hand with whom he shares a mutual dislike, though due to his position as avatar of the gods, and his popularity within the faith and also with the common folk, there is little that anyone can do to touch him. Such is his popularity in fact that despite his bad reputation amongst the higher ups in the King's court he has managed to keep himself incredibly favourable in the public eye, so much so that outside of King's Landing very few view him with anything less than adoration.

Biography: The youngest of three sons born to Lady Barbara Bracken of Stone Hedge, Benedict Bracken,(as was his name back then) came from a long lineage of god fearing men. House Bracken could trace their piety all the way back to when the Andals first enlightened Westeros, long before the conquest of King Aegon Targaryen, and as such have a history of protecting and maintaining the faith within the Riverlands. This, amongst other things, may have been why their house found a natural rival in their neighbors of Raventree Hall, whose own faith was questionable at best, and at worst bordering upon savage. There's is a rivalry that has survived countless centuries and as such the current generation of Brackens are no different from their forefathers in terms of hatred, deceit and petty squabbles,

The oldest thing that Benedict can still remember is his father being shot through the heart with an arrow, an arrow fletched with the feather of a raven, his second memory comes from not six moons later: his mother lying dead with a stillborn child clutched within her cold and unmoving arms. Life was not easy for Benedict, and from an incredibly early age he learned of the hardships that were suffered not only by himself and the rest of the ruling class but also by the smallfolk and peasants that inhabited the many fields around Stone Hedge, growing the crops that were vital for the survival of their entire community. Without his parents to take charge, the command of Stone Hedge fell to the castle's castellan a lowborn septon by the name of Gerold of Pennytree. Gerold took regency over the castle, and took his job as its ruler incredibly seriously, he would raise Benedict and his siblings as if they were his own sons, and would teach them the ways of not only rulership but also of the seven, lessons that have stuck with the High Septon throughout his entire life.

Due to his nature as a Septon, Gerold would often take in many smallfolk children into the castle, and he would raise them umongst the Lords, this above anything else taught Benedict of the struggles of the common man, and he learned to empathize with those less fortunate than himself, building bonds that continue to last to this day.

As the Bracken's grew older, Benedict's siblings began to put less stock into the words of their elderly septon mentor, Ben's eldest sibling was destined for Lordship and as such he would go on to squire for one of the neighboring lords in the Westerlands, Ben's other brother and twin began putting more effort into his training in the yard and would go on to become one of the greatest swordsmen Westeros would ever see. Benedict was different however, he would still train with his siblings, and he would still take lessons in economics and logistics but his real passion would lie with the seven and the tales that were told to him by the closest thing he would ever have to a father.

Benedict grew up during the reign of Queen Danaerys I Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons and as such had never seen war or bloodshed, though that would swiftly change with the passing of the era. The rule of King Rhaegar I would see many things brought to westeros, a strong flexible economy, the promise of reform for the common folk and most notably the return of conflict to Westeros. The Bracken was already a man grown when he followed his brother to war, and he served in the disputed lands under the forces of the Hand, Lord Thaddeus Tarly of Horn Hill. This, more than anything else, was what drove him on his path to become a septon. Ser Benedict killed many in that war, and crippled many more and for the next few years he was never able to wipe clean the blood that was upon his hands.

Benedict never returned to Stone Hedge after that. He took the cheapest boat to King's Landing (Where at this point his brother was serving in the Kingsguard as the sworn shield to Prince Maegor of Dragonstone) and took up work within the Great Sept of Baelor. At first he merely helped with the occasional odd job such as cooking and cleaning, but eventually he would become a full fledged septon in his own right, rising through the ranks until eventually in his late forties he would become a member of the most devout, serving directly under the High Septon himself: the avatar of the gods.

The High Septon was fat, fat and greedy, and in the eyes of many he was an embarrassment to the faith and all that it stood for. He would lie, whore, and steal, and was known to accept bribes, taking orders from anyone with an ample amount of gold at their disposal. This disgusted Benedict and he would petition for the King to have him either sacked or executed, something that King Maegor was unable to do despite a large public outcry. Benedict took matters into his own hands after that and upon the dawn of the new moon the faith would see a new man baring the words of the seven, a man less prone to corruption: High Septon Benedict Bracken "The Just One".

This would not be the only unfavourable encounter that occurred between the king and the faith however, for the High Septon was not as lenient as he predecessor. He viewed incest as a crime against the gods, and was appalled by the marriage of Prince Daeron of Dragonstone to his own sister, a marriage ordained by his predecessor. By this point the former Bracken had a lot of leverage within the faith and he secretly stewed up public outcry from the common folk, some even calling for the return of the faith militant. Upon meeting with the King however the High Septon would simply brush of this notion out of hand, he did not want the faith militant restored and all he wanted was to restore order between the crown and the faith. In return for the subjugation of the masses King Maegor ceded to the High Septon his two year old son, a little red haired boy whom he had called Lucerys to become a septon and learn the ways of the seven. This is considered by his holiness to be a great victory on the part of the church, though for unknown reasons.

Family: House Bracken

Other:

  • The High Septon is the twin brother of Ser Walder Bracken of the Kingsguard
  • His holiness was good friends with the previous hand of the king, Jasper Redwyne, though despises his replacement
  • The High Septon's common name "The Just One" is a play on the fact he was named after King Benedict Justman.

Biography:

House Rowan is one of the most prominent and one of the old Houses from the Reach. Apart from having an ancient roots, House Rowan is wealthy and because of that they are somehow influential. The Reach is one of the most fertile and bountiful land in the whole Seven Kingdoms. Lands where someone can plant grains, fruits, flowers, and among other things are spread out in the entire area. House Rowan started their family business by selling what can be planted on the lands they owned and what was granted to them. Later on they started breeding wildstocks especially horses due from the late Lords of the Goldengrove's fondness of jousting and joining tourneys. Most of the prime horses that are used in riding during wars or pulling the carriages of the royals came from their stables. Rich and well established even before the breeding of horses, a lot of Lords of other Houses nearby were reaching out, asking if the Lord Marshall Thaddeus Rowan's daughters were in need of husbands. But Lord Rowan is one smart man. He managed to keep the other lords on his strings, promising them this and that if they decided to have their sons marry his daughters. But he never drop a name, he never agreed on any treaty nor lock a promise by having his daughters betrothed. Not until he was sure that it was the best offer that he could get, all the Lord could do was make an empty promise.

But when the Stranger took his wife, Thaddeus felt the pressure of the other Lords, demanding to choose and pick someone. The other Lords notice that his daughters were blooming into a good looking and beautiful ladies that they even managed to wait for some more. Finally, not having much of a luck procrastinating and he knew that there are other lords with other daughters, Lord Rowan finally formalize a negotiation with Lord Gerold Hightower. Thaddeus first born Beatrice will be betrothed to one of his sons. He was careful enough to indicate that his youngest, Bianca was meant for someone else.

Beatrice and her would-be husband first met in one of the infamous parties in Highgarden and that is where they were actually told that they were going to be wed to each other.

Beatrice was not exactly smitten at the young Knight. She wasn't fond of swords and violence but she knew those things can be inevitable at times. She knew that negotiations don't always work because some men don't listen or just plain greedy, like her Lord father. But Beatrice was taught that she must obey her parents wishes, and that she did. Despite of her betrothed's fondness of swords and weapons, the man is quite decent. Compared to his older brother who drinks and whores around, Humfrey is nice, caring and a perfect gentleman to her. If he has some vices, Beatrice never saw it.

At the age of 21, Beatrice and Humfrey were married in Oldtown. It was celebrated for days before Beatrice move there for residence. And it was that time that Bianca was truly envious of her older sister. She too, of course, has suitors to herself but her mind works like her father's. She likes to keep an option before going on a right path.

Ever since they were children, there was a raging war against Bianca and Beatrice. A fight that Bianca, the youngest of the two, is the only one who's aware of. Jealousy rear its head when Bianca felt like their parents were favoring Beatrice more. Of course it was never true. They were both loved and well cared for. But Bianca is more stubborn compared to her older sister. She likes to cause trouble and blame the others for it. As the two grew older, their differences were very obvious.

One of the ancient lore regarding about their family was about the daughter of Garth Greenhand, Rowan Gold-Tree. It was said that when Rowan was of age her heart got broken when she learned that the man she loves left her for someone far richer than her. Grief stricken, she wrapped an apple on her hair and planted it over the hill. Bianca never quite phantom as to why Rowan Gold-Tree did it. Or even as to how. Did she cut her hair? Or did she planted it along with the tree underground and when the apple grew, was her body wrapped and got consumed by it? Either way, she found it stupid and plainly idiotic, and she always knew what comes next when Rowan Gold-Tree was mentioned. Her sister Beatrice. Beatrice, like Rowan, has a beautiful soft golden hair that was always in perfect curls and always in an intricate bun.

A scowl was usually in Bianca's face, especially if their Septa recounts the tale and praises Beatrice. They even said that she's probably the incarnate of the legendary daughter. With her calm demeanor and peaceful heart, she must be. In Beatrice's face, Bianca was all supportive. Saying yes, that she definitely could be the Rowan Gold-Tree from the tale. But deep in her thoughts, Bianca was thinking of burying her sister alive just to make Beatrice and Rowan share the same fate. It was always been like that, Beatrice this and Beatrice that when it comes to their father. The perfect daughter, he dubbed her. When their mother was alive, it was she who comforts Bianca's irrational rants. Instead of chiding her, their mother would just placate her with material things and tell her the opposite. Elisa was not favoring Bianca but she doesn't want her to feel like she was downtrodden all the time by her sister or anyone at all. Beatrice understood what their mother was doing, and she didn't actually got angry about it. She doesn't want any compliment from anyone but the love of her sister, and she just did everything in her power to include her.

As they grew older, the treatment was still the same. Beatrice was always the exceptional one. But Bianca became better at hiding her emotions. She enjoy watching the mummers that she picked a thing or two to them about being blank or even show emotions that she never truly feel. Apart from having these talents, Bianca became interested in their horse trading business when her sister favors their other trades. In fact she became a better rider than her for when she feels like her world is closing in on her, her one trusted horse ( named Wumpus. Lol. Kidding) is there to take her away.

The children of House Rowan are all skilled equestrian

Name

Lysa Baratheon

Gender

Female

Year of Birth

354 AC

Age

19

Titles/Nicknames

The Big Doe: Just as her sister Ivana is the Small Doe, so to is Lysa Baratheon the Big Doe, on account of her gargantuan frame, which many feel would be more suited to a great knight in the vein of Ser Duncan the Tall.

Marital Status

Unmarried

Personality

While Ivana is talkative, confident, and loud, Lysa is much the opposite. She's a meek and humble woman who speaks rarely, and does so in a quiet voice. She feels uncomfortable having attention on herself, lacks self-confidence, and has never really aspired to do or be much other than live a comfortable life in her castle and be left to her books and her family. She certainly wouldn't want to rule the Stormlands, which is what she'll likely end up doing if harm befalls Ivana. As such, she has a vested interest in keeping her "aggressively self-confident" elder sibling out of harm's way, even before anything else comes into play. Lysa is exceedingly fond of Ivana, despite her flaws, and admires her greatly, especially for her confidence and belief in herself. Essentially, Ivana is what Lysa wishes she was a bit more like. She enjoys Ivana's sense of humour immensely, usually tittering quietly behind a hand at her cracks. She also has her own subtle, astute, and highly intelligent form of wit, which is sadly underused, only really showing when actively drawn out, or occasionally when Lysa's feeling particularly bright and makes an occasional addition to Ivana's own jests. Usually, she just either lacks the confidence to speak up, or bites back her words for being potentially inappropriate. Of course, she knows Ivana would tell her that the latter is the former.

As the rare moments of Lysa displaying her wit can attest, she's actually a very bright young woman with an inquisitive mind and a deep understanding of the world around her and how it works, though little experience in it. She just keeps quiet about it, because, well, have you been reading the damn CS? She quite likes her books, and has an extensive library of both informative and fictional books that she regularly browses in her spare time. She's rather easily swayed by her elder sister. She's not exactly easily swayed in general, but she has a propensity to just keep quiet and go along with what people are saying, even if she has other ideas. She dislikes conflict, although doesn't back down from it when it comes to her sister. If Ivana expresses an opinion, she is quick to quietly put her support behind her sister. She sees family as the most important bond that can exist, and looks down on those who would act against their family, while siding with her own at every opportunity.

Lysa is suspicious by nature, and as such is leery of strangers, often guarding herself and her feelings around those she feels are outsiders, clamming up even more than she usually does. She's exceptionally mistrusting of Aegon, Isla's husband-to-be, and wouldn't trust him nearly as far as she could throw him. Which is surprisingly far, due to her powerful build, so the expression is a tad moot. Speaking of Isla, she also enjoys Isla's calm, clever demeanour, as it's a refreshing change of pace to Ivana. She's close to Isla, but not the sisterly-close she is with Ivana. Yeah, that's all I'll write for now.

Biography

Err...

Appearance

Lysa is actually fairly pretty, if you just take her face into account. But most are deterred by her stature, towering over people at six feet and eight inches tall, with broad shoulders. Essentially, she has the build of someone who could've been a great warrior, but instead was raised as a lady. That's not just the fault of her parents, she herself has little inclination towards physical activities, so she's actually fairly thin, for how broad her shoulders are. She dresses and styles herself modestly, rather than wearing anything ostentatious.

Name: Robert Wilds

Gender: Male

Year of Birth: 347

Age: 25

Title(s): Heir to Fair Isle

Marital Status: Married to Jeyne Kenning

Personality: Growing up in the shadow of one of the greatest warriors to ever grace the shores of Westeros, if there is one trait that Robert Wilds has in abundance it is an unwavering determination to live up to the legacy set by his father. Ever since he was a young lad the only thing that Robert wanted to do with his life was to follow in the footsteps of Lord Roland Wilds and become a great warrior, even going so far as to work long hours into the night to to enhance and later perfect his skills with sword and lance. For the most part his endeavours were in an attempt to make his father proud, though perhaps another factor was to conceal his own true nature. Robert has never seen war like his father, nor did he fight in a mercenary company like his grandfather and as such, he is a comparatively soft man, far from the gruff knight that Lord Roland was in his youth. This fact has always haunted him and given him a feeling of general inadequacy within his family, causing him to build up somewhat of an inferiority complex, never feeling that he is good enough for any task.

Biography: A Wilds by birth and a Lannister by blood, Robert Wilds can trace his lineage from both the eldest and the youngest noble families within the Westerlands and as such has always been situated in an odd position in terms of status and power. Whilst it is true that his father had been raised a lord, in one of the most powerful holdfasts in the region, it is also true that his grandfather was a sellsword and a vagabond whose own claim to nobility stemmed more from his almost unparalleled skill with a blade than a divine right or royal bloodline. As such, mockery was rampant in Robert's earlier years, mostly from the other noble lads who claimed he was but half a lord, but also from the servants and courtiers of his father's court who thought him far too soft for Lord Roland's boy, sometime citing that Lady Cassandra must have had an affair with a halfwit whilst her Lord husband rode into war, though of course never in her earshot. Were he a less meek boy, Robert may have brought such talk to his father's ears, for even a middle aged Lord Wilds was enough to frighten the most courageous of aggressors, however unfortunately that was not the case and such snide comments and subtle remarks went unchecked well into Robert's adult life.

Growing up in the martially dominated Fair Castle, even a comparatively small child like Robert was able to pick up the sword and lance, and though he had no natural affinity for either, what he lacked in talent he more than made up for in determination. The Lord of Fair Isle was a busy man at that time, attempting to govern a lordship that had for centuries prior had only been ruled by a single house, however he was always willing to watch over his son's training, offering praise and criticism where it was necessary. This above all else was what encouraged the Wilds to further expand his martial training, for despite their differences he had always looked up to his father and aspired to one day follow in his footsteps as a great warrior. As such there was little time that Robert spent away from the training yard and though at first his progress was slow he soon became not only passable by incredibly skillful with a blade, as well as acquiring moderate talent with a lance, though to a much lesser degree.

As a child Robert didn't have many friends, but one of the few that he did have was a noble girl around his own age, who he had aspirations to marry. She was the daughter of one of his father's vassals and they had known each other since they were both still in the crib, playing all sorts of childish games and over time coming to know and understand each other. Despite this when it actually became time for Robert to find himself a bride he found himself betrothed to another. His father and mother had arranged a match between him and a Kenning of Kayce, and though he knew that they would likely fold if he told them his heart was with another he did not want to disappoint them and as such married her anyway, making no indication of being unhappy or even slightly distasteful of the match.

Despite living for three and twenty years prior, perhaps the most defining and also the most tragic part of Robert's life took place when he was twenty four. He was entered into a tourney to celebrate the name day of one of his Lannister cousins and was to compete in both the melee and the joust. However a tragic mishap with a lance during the secondary phase of the joust left him severely injured and in critical condition, all of the gold in Casterly Rock could not have fixed him on that day and ever since Robert has been left unable to walk without the use of a walking cane, and can barely stand even then. This injury put a premature end to any dreams that Robert had of become a great warrior and ever since he has become a much more solemn man.

Other: He has an undefined amount of children each of an undefined age.

Name: Brynden Tully

Gender: Male

Year of Birth: 321

Age: 52

Titles, Nicknames: Lord Paramount of the Trident, The Frowning Fish

Marital Status: Married

Personality: With the patience of a rock and the calm disposition of a still lake, it is somewhat of a wonder that Bynden Tully has for the most part maintained his even temper in his years as Lord Paramount (Though he has in fact grown increasingly disgruntled over the years, as his family and closest bannermen know). From the time he was a lad, Brynden has been aware of the expectations placed upon him, and as such always carries himself in a solemn, almost weary manner. While the former Lord Hoster was known to be a jovial man, his eldest son in contrast comes off as rather dour, not one to offer false smiles or wear a cheery mask to put others at ease. Some may find this candidness refreshing in comparison to the great airs many noblemen and women put on, though those who do not know him well tend to see him as a morose fellow, hence the origin of the alias ‘The Frowning Fish’. Despite first impressions however, Brynden is not a heartless man, caring deeply for the well being of those he is sworn to serve and protect, and is fiercely loyal to that commitment. To betray that confidence would be akin to burning the bridge between oneself and the Lord Paramount, as he seldom forgets a slight towards his family or vassals.

While there are those who might call their men to arms at the slightest provocation, Brynden is not nearly as hasty as that, preferring to take his time in mulling things over before getting involved in a situation. Some might say he is languid in the face of conflict, or others may simply call him cautious- either way Brynden is not one to take risk lightly, especially if doing so puts his people in harm’s way. Though by no means an intellectual, he has a mind for strategy and can be a cunning man when he wants to be, though his wife is by far more accomplished when it comes to playing politics. He is modest in his opinions of himself, but takes great pride in what the Riverlands and its people have accomplished in rebuilding themselves after the War of the Five Kings, and does not take kindly to japes at their expense.

Biography: The eldest son of the former Lord Hoster and Lady Jeyne, Brynden was named in memory of his great-uncle the Blackfish, who died in the effort to free his grandfather Edmure from the Lannisters' imprisonment during the last war. Both his father and grandfather dedicated their lives towards restoring the Riverlands, yet despite their progress, much work was to be done. Even in Brynden’s youth, food shortages and plagues remained a prevalent issue for the noble families and small folk alike, yet more pressing still was the air of suspicion which loomed between the noble houses after the tragedies of the War. As the heir to Riverrun, he was from a young age taken under his father’s wing to learn not only how to rule, but what was to be done to rebuild their homeland, not only the houses and farmlands, but also to renew its people’s trust. It was a heavy burden to bear, but he carried it as was expected. The young lord-to-be was always mature for his years, caring for his younger siblings while his parents were away on business, but it was when his youngest brother Grover died that whatever light-heartedness Brynden had was thoroughly crushed. It was he who sat beside his mother and watched his sibling wither away as Lord Hoster was away, and for a long time he held himself accountable for the boy’s death, though it no longer pains him as it once did.

As he grew older, it became increasingly apparent that his and his father’s methods of leadership were very different. While Hoster regularly dined with his vassals and hosted a number of tournaments and similar festivities, Brynden had little stomach for such frivolous spending. In his mind, his father was far too concerned with appeasing his bannermen so as not to cause ripples of tension or dissent, and given the latter’s sullen demeanour, a handful of lords expressed concern or distaste that he was to be their future Lord Paramount. He was at this point recognized across the Riverlands as a decent fighter and a man of pragmatism, but in considering his gracious lord father or even his charming brother Edmyn, who had become renowned for his skill in melee combat, the eldest son seemed to pale in comparison. It reached the point where certain parties conspired to see that Edmyn would instead succeed his father, but the up-and-coming knight had no interest in the tedium of a lordship, and the notion was swiftly shut down by Lord Hoster.

Yet even Hoster could understand his men’s apprehension, and spoke to his son to request that he might soften his demeanour. Brynden did not take kindly to his father’s words, and the pair’s relationship became strained thereafter. Yet there was little opportunity to mull this over: the call for war had come once more from King’s Landing, this time with the ‘War of Two Daughters’. The Tully sons offered their services to the King alongside their father and the Mallister Fleet, and while it was Edmyn who became a renowned war hero, Brynden proved himself in this period a skilled leader, both in and out of combat. The hardened young man grew stonier still, yet when his father was forced to leave the battlefield due to injuries sustained, it was Brynden who guided his men in battle, who led a small party through enemy lines to aid an ambushed contingent of soldiers from the Reach and Westerlands. And when the fighting finally came to an end, the young lord-to-be visited each keep to personally return the bodies of the Riverland’s men who had lost their lives. After that, there were still plenty who disliked the ‘Frowning Fish’, but if anything good came from that bloody conflict, it was that Brynden earned his people’s respect.

For a time thereafter, there was peace again in Westeros. After being pushed by his parents to find a suitable wife, Brynden was wed to a woman he felt could be his equal- Dhalla Mallister. It was in many regards a match for the sake of convenience as well as to silence any remaining questions regarding Brynden’s succession (As Hoster’s health had continued deteriorating since the war). Fortunately, it was a pairing which came from mutual respect for each other, as Brynden and Dhalla had known each other since chldhood, and she was one of a handful of noble ladies whom he was on good terms with. When King Rhaegar later summoned his men for a campaign in Essos, Brynden and his family were less willing than to participate this time. While the previous war was meant to repel the invading Lys-Tyroshi forces, this seemed little more than petty retaliation. Following the resignation of Thaddeus Tarly, Lord Hoster at his son’s request stalled the deployment of the Riverland’s troops, this being his final order before passing away from old age and kidney failure. After his father’s funeral, Brynden’s first official statement as Lord Paramount was that the Riverlands would be delayed in sending their troops to Essos, as fall had come and they needed the manpower to harvest crops and prepare for winter. There were some who called him out as a coward, but at home he was praised for the decision, and upon learning of the disastrous Battle of the Golden Stream, Brynden never expressed regret for his choice.

The past few decades have been relatively peaceful, at least in comparison to the tumultuous nature of his previous years. The lords still quarrel fiercely over land and dowries, but as a whole the Riverlands have prospered under Brynden’s careful leadership. He has taken much pride and pleasure in seeing his children grow up, but he remains concerned for the future of his family and homeland. With Maegor on his deathbed and tension brewing in Kings Landing, Brynden remains ever vigilant, observing from afar as the Targeryan children seem to prepare for war once more.

Appearance: Age has not treated Brynden kindly, turning the once tall, robust man into a gaunt shadow of his former self. His once auburn hair has thinned while turning a muddled grey, a scraggly beard encompassing his lower jaw, and wrinkled skin sags off his frame like melted wax, freckled with liver spots. Hollow cheeks, thin lips, and piercing blue-grey eyes are his most prominent facial features. Despite this haggard appearance, he remains fit for his age, deft in his wielding of a sword or chain-mace, and can ride a horse all day without rest.

Family:

  • Hoster Tully, father. Deceased, former Lord Paramount of the Trident. A man of patience and altruism, the former Lord Paramount was known to genuinely care for the well-being of both his vassals and the smallfolk whom he served. He dedicated his life to restoring the Riverlands to a place of peace and prosperity after the horrors which it endured, so much that little time was spent with his family or children. Some might even say he was too accommodating to his bannermen, and there are those who feel he was lenient in forgiving House Frey for the crimes they committed during the War of the Five Kings. Nonetheless, most people who knew him in life remember him fondly, and the man is well-loved to this day. Suffered an arrow to the knee during the War of Two Daughters, and coupled with gout rapidly deteriorated in health thereafter.
  • Jeyne Tully (nee Piper), mother (76). Daughter of Marq Piper and Carellen Smallwood. A bright woman in her youth, Jeyne preferred spending her days playing the harp than pursuing suitors, showing little interest in the ‘joys’ of marriage and child-rearing. However, when the time came to be married off, she did so without complaint in order to appease her family as well as the future Lord Paramount, who had taken a fancy to her. However, the keen observer could on occasional catch a trace of melancholy in her eyes, a longing for a different life and the mourning of dreams left unfulfilled. In her old age her eyes have grown as cloudy and glazed over, her mind lost in recollection of days long past. However, there are times where she surfaces from this stupor and seems awake in the present. Resides in Riverrun under the care of her eldest son and the maester.
    • Ser Edmyn Tully, younger brother (47). Also known as 'Edmyn the Brave'. Married to an Arryn. Resides in the Eyrie with his wife and daughter Ellia and is uncle to Lord Jasper of the Vale.
    • Willem Tully, younger brother (45), Lord of Harrenhall. Wed to a Hawick and has two children.
    • Grover Tully, youngest brother. Died of smallpox as a boy.
    • Eleanor Tarly (nee Tully), younger sister (43). Wed to Theodore Tarly of Horn Hill.
  • Dhalla Tully (nee Mallister), wife (48). Lady of Riverrun.
    • Lucas Tully, first son (31). Heir to Riverrun, currently unwed.
    • Axel Tully, second son (29). Married to a Bracken.
    • Marianne Tully, first daughter and Alyssa's twin(24). Was to marry Robin Ryger of Willow’s Wood. Betrothed to a Frey.
    • Alyssa Tully, second daughter and Marianne's twin(24). Unwed.
    • Ser Kermit Tully, third son (22). A Knight of the Kingsguard, also called "The White Fish".
    • Rosyn Lannister (nee Tully), third daughter (20). Also known as the ‘Rose of the Riverlands’ Widowed with two children, resides in Riverrun.
    • Tytos Tully, fourth son (18). Bethrothed.
Other: Despite his relatively good health Brynden has always been prone to respiratory ailments, and is currently bedridden in Riverrun with pneumonia. In his place he has sent his wife and children to attend the Wedding in Kings Landing.

Name: Dhalla Tully (nee Mallister)

Year of Birth: 325

Age: 48

Title: Lady of Riverrun

Marital Status: Married to Brynden Tully.

Personality: At first glance, Dhalla seems to embody the essential traits of the noblewoman from the South. Carrying herself with a quiet dignity, the lady’s demeanour would be best described as muted, preferring to quietly listen whilst offering the occasional comment rather than be the centre of attention. This is not to say that she is shy however, as she takes great pleasure in the various festivities and social events which she attends throughout the Riverlands, and is at ease when chatting with lords and small folk alike. However passionate she may be in her opinions, she knows when to push a topic further and when to let it go, and is acutely aware of her position in the social hierarchy and what is required of her as a result. Dhalla bears these expectations with grim resignation, though a dim fire of rebellion remain alit in her core, the remnants of the fierce woman she once was. While she has mellowed out as she’s grown older, a tinge of that temperamental nature lingers still, and if the right buttons are pressed can turn on a dime to become a surprisingly vehement individual..

Beneath the demure exterior, the Lady of Riverrun is a shrewd woman with a deep understanding of the political forces which influence Westeros, which she has used over the years to aid her family in navigating the treacherous waters associated with lordships and nobility. She is particularly observant when it comes to the behaviours and motivations of others, and is recognized by those around her as being a good judge of character. Dhalla has at times a compelling way with words, though she is not nearly as eloquent as she believes herself to be, and when she finds herself caught off guard or else outwitted by those more adept with their words gets rather embarrassed, though she’ll do her best not to show it. She prides herself on being a woman of principle and for having instilled those virtues of duty and integrity into her children, but despite her teachings is not as high and noble as she makes herself out to be, as there are instances where she sets those moral guidelines to the wayside for the ‘greater-good’.

Biography: Born in Seagard as the sole daughter of Lord Patrek and Lady Barbery, Dhalla was always a bit of a spitfire growing up. While she was taught the ways of a woman from a young age by her Septa and mother, much of her free time was spent with her brothers, running about the castle grounds reenacting famous battles or folktales. As a child she was deemed a gifted young student, and during her studies with the Maester took a keen interest in history and (later into her teenage years) politics. She was less inclined than her brothers to get into mischief, but whenever she did get in trouble usually was able to worm her way out of a more severe punishment than her siblings received (At least when it came to her father). A small part of her was aware that eventually she would be expected to wed a respectable noble and bear children, yet this was something she seldom dwelled upon. She was not necessarily opposed to being a wife and mother, rather her attention was directed to matter of greater interest, such as reading or horseback riding.

Of course, as a young woman of noble birth in the Southern lands, it was expected that she be introduced to the Riverlands noble houses and spend more time with girls her own age. However, while Dhalla was perfectly content in socializing with the daughters and sons of the neighbouring lords, her mother had greater ambitions for her daughter. It was on her eleventh name day that Lady Barbery announced her plan: Dhalla was to serve as a handmaiden in the royal courts, so as to become better acquainted with the Lords and Ladies of Kings Landing (With the hope that her daughter might catch the eye of a suitor from a larger/wealthier house). However, her daughter had no interest whatsoever in being forced to leave her home, and implored her father to allow her to stay. Caught between a rock and a hard place, Patrek Mallister attempted to have his wife and daughter come to agreement with one another, with little to no success. When ultimately forced to make a decision on the matter, he sided with Barbery on the matter, much to his daughter's disdain. The girl made no further complaint on the topic, but for many years after begrudged her parents for forcing her hand.

Four years were spent in the courts of Kings Landing, tending to the needs of wealthier ladies and making small talk with the noble girls her own age. Over time she adapted to her circumstances and grew fonder of her surroundings, but was never fully at ease. While her mother and Septa had always cautioned her that a woman's role was to be seen rather than heard, it was only after being scolded extensively by the noblewoman whom she served to bite her tongue that the lesson stuck in Dhalla's mind. From then on she became more soft-spoken in public and attempted to better conform to the mold which she was expected to fit in, but the experience put a vile taste in her mouth, and in her gut a pit of discord was permanently embedded. If anything good came of her time in Kings Landing, it was learning first-hand of the subtleties required when immersed in the political whirlwind of court-life. That, and the friendships which were made with the future Ladies of the Southern Kingdoms,
a handful of whom she maintains correspondence with to this day.

Perhaps had she stayed longer she might have become the wife of some Lord of the Reach or the Westerlands, but when war was declared against the Essosi invaders, Dhalla took it as an opportunity to return home to Seagard to support her father and brothers, who were preparing the Mallister fleet to regain the Stepstones. While her mother and the castellan were in charge of maintaining the house in Lord Patrek's absence, the young woman assisted however possible, primarily through working with the minor keeps and towns to ensure that the region's agriculture/ fishing operations were unhindered by the loss of their men. Though never a devout woman, Dhalla prayed diligently at this time that her family return safely from the conflict, and was greatly relieved when both her brothers and father came home relatively unscathed (Though her brother Jonos suffered a leg injury which resulted in a limp). With the threat of war having passed however, this left no distraction from the most dreary task she had yet to face; marriage. While Dhalla had gone through the dance of courtship with a handful of men during her time in the capital, none had proposed to her, and the thought of being paraded about as some trophy to be won sickened the Mallister girl.

Fortunately, her father did not make her endure that humiliating stage of the process, for he had been quietly arranging that Dhalla wed the Lord of Riverrun's heir, Brynden. It was a good match, all things considered; not only were the Tully's the strongest house of the Riverlands, but of the numerous potential husbands she had met over the years, Brynden had been always one of the more tolerable boys she knew, although perhaps a bit too grim for her liking. And so the marriage took place a few months after the War of Two Daughters, a rather uneventful affair (Though the celebrations themselves were quite lavish, at the insistence of both Lord Hoster and Lady Barbery). The newlyweds settled rather swiftly into their new routines, an adequate but loveless relationship. Dhalla preoccupied her time adjusting to her new duties, which consisted primarily of aiding Brynden's mother Jeyne in maintaining the castle, but was in many respects unsatisfied with what she was given to do. A great deal of time was spent visiting the lords and ladies across the Riverlands whom she was close to, and spent as little time as possible in her new home.

This could only last so long however, as once she became pregnant her travel was gradually restricted. While most described childbearing as a time of excitement and joy, she felt numb to the whole process, confined to the castle walls and its inhabitants. Her mother-in law attended to her regularly, and her dear friend Lady Rhea Smallwood frequently visited her to keep her company, which made this period tolerable. Eventually her husband was made aware of her discomfort, and at his mother's behest attempted to connect with his wife. His early efforts were clumsy, and he was stiff in expressing his emotions, but over time Dhalla came to appreciate that he even bothered trying. From that point forward the pair's relationship slowly improved, and while the two never quite fell in love with each other, the pair have grown to care deeply for each other and are on good terms.

In the subsequent years after this initial rough patch, Dhalla has come to find purpose in her life. Her husbands gravitas and influence as Lord Paramount coupled with her quick wit and knowledge of Southern politics have proven an effective combination in dealing with the quarrelsome river lords as well as forging and strengthening relations with the other major houses across Westeros, and she takes great pleasure in seeing their labours come to fruition. Raising her children has also proven to be a joy over time, but if she were to be honest, the Lady's proudest accomplishments lie in overseeing the increased agricultural output (And consequentially strengthening the economy) of the region as well as aiding in the expansion of the Mallister Fleet. Though her husband is wary of the trouble brewing in the Crownlands, Dhalla is equal parts concerned and intrigued by these developments. After all, as frightful as war might be, is it also a time ripe with opportunity for those with the hunger to thrive.

Appearance: While she is certainly not the comely lady she was in her youth, Dhalla remains a handsome woman for her age. Her dark brown hair is dyed to hide the streaks of grey and is typically kept in a crown braid which frames her oval face. Wrinkles line the corners of her mouth and eyes, and deep furrows accent her heavy brow. Shadows hang beneath her hazel eyes, and her face is dominated by a large hooked nose and doughy cheeks. Dhalla has grown increasingly plump over the years, though this is offset by her daily jaunts on horseback, and other than the stiffness settling in her hands from arthritis is in relatively good health.

Family:

  • Patrek Mallister, father. Deceased, former Lord of Seagard.
  • Barbery Mallister (nee Cerwyn). Deceased, former Lady of Seagard.
    • Jonah Mallister, elder brother (55). Lord of Seagard, also called ‘The Old Eagle’. Widowed, married to a Blackwood and has three living children.
      • Roderick Mallister, nephew (34). Heir to Seagard. Wed to Celia Mallister (nee Mooton), and has two sons, Mathis and Donnel.
      • Leanne Mallister, niece (29). Unwed, Commander of the Mallister Fleet.
      • Desmond Mallister, nephew (26). Married to a Manderly.
    • Ser Jared Mallister, younger brother (43). A well reputed knight who frequently attends tournaments across Westeros. A close friend of Edmyn Tully. Unwed.
      • Lysa Rivers, niece (16). Jared’s bastard daughter, lives in Seagard under the care of her aunt and uncle.
  • Brynden Tully, husband (52). Lord Paramount of the Trident, also known as ‘The Frowning Fish’.
    • Their children are listed above.
Other: Much like her siblings and the rest of the Mallister family, she has little love for the Ironborn, and despite the fact that they have thus far abided by the laws set by the Targeryans does not trust that they'll continue to do so for much longer.

Name: Lucas Tully

Gender: Male

Year of Birth: 342

Age: 31

Title: Heir to Riverrun.

Marital Status: Unwed

Personality: From the moment one first meets him, Lucas comes off as being a sharp-witted, albeit tense, man. Much like his father, he goes about his responsibilities as a lord-to-be with grim acceptance, always expecting the worst case scenario and prepping himself for all the complications which are bound to arise in a given situation. While he’s like to complain and groan in the face of tedious ordeals, Lucas is steadfast in following through on obligations pertaining to his duties as Heir to Riverrun, though he’s more prone to flaking on events such as social gatherings. This behaviour may be perceived as being pompous or stuck-up (Both of which he is prone to now and again) but this attention towards his duties stems moreso from his workhorse mentality and perfectionist nature than arrogance. He has little faith in either gods or the inherent decency of men, and prefers researching and coming to his own conclusions on a topic rather than blindly trust the advice of others.

Despite this cynical world-view, he does hold true to House Tully’s words. He may have disagreements with his parents and siblings, but it is they whom he puts his trust in above all else, and his loyalty lies in ensuring their continued well being. As the eldest of the family’s children, he is protective of his younger siblings (Particularly the recently widowed Rosyn) and will fiercely stand up for them whenever the occasion calls for it. In the company of others whom he’s not well acquainted with, Lucas is amiable enough, but keeps his cards close to his chest. The man tries to put forth a collected demeanour, but is noticeably more high-strung than the current Lord Paramount, and one cannot help but wonder how he would fare when forced to take charge of a situation.

Biography: As the eldest son of the Lord Paramount, Lucas has lived a privileged life thus far. From the time he was a young boy, the heir never wanted for anything with his parents, Maester Lymond, and the Master-at-Arms there to encourage and guide him. He was a decent lad, gracious for all he had, but weak-willed, and meekly followed the instructions of those around him. While the child preferred to spend his days tending to the castles animals than practicing swordplay or studying, Lucas was aware of what was expected of him. And as much as the thought of becoming a Lord filled his stomach with unease, the fear of disappointing his parents was even more worrisome, and so resolved to do his best. There were plenty of times that the lad was petulant in the face to fulfilling these responsibilities, but at the end of the day, he would submit to the will of those older (And supposedly wiser) than himself. Eventually, as Lucas grew up, he came to recognize that his duty was not solely to his family but the people they were meant to serve. Yet while he increasingly put on a snarky, pretentious facade to shield himself, at heart he remained concerned as to whether he was really someone worthy of becoming Lord of Riverrun.

The little lordling was fortunate, in that his siblings were there to support him. As the Master-at-Arms went through countless drills with him, it was Axel and Kermit who practiced with him in the yard. If the lad had questions he wasn’t comfortable asking the Maester, he would ask Alyssa or Rosyn for some tutoring. Marianne forced him to ride with her until his body was sore, and when he struggled courting the ladies at the feasts, little Tytos took him aside one day and showed him how to dance without brutalizing a maiden’s feet. He made friends from other noble houses of course, but some found his uppity demeanour too agitating, and so he typically spent most of his time with his family or on his own. This might be disconcerting for some, but Lucas has seldom minded keeping his own company, and even as his mother began pushing him to seek a wife he remained a bit of a recluse, quietly helping Lymond tend to the ravens or taking care of the kennel's hounds when not attending to his official duties. When Lord Brynden was questioned regarding his son's solitary habits, the man politely yet firmly brushed aside these comments. After all, he had been an island unto himself in his younger years, and trusted that his son would rise to the occasion when the time came that he took his place.

As his Lord father has begun to grow older, Lucas has started taking a more prominent role in taking care of the Riverlands and its people. While Brynden remains in Riverrun most of the time, it is his son who visits the small-folk and consults with the banner-men on minor issues. Dhalla continues to pressure him to find a wife, inviting a number of ladies from the Riverlands and beyond to meet with her mild-mannered son, but it has never gone beyond amiable friendships. As for the trouble brewing in the capital, Lucas has given little thought as to whether any major conflict shall arise of him. While his parents and the other noble-folk gossip under hushed breath, he disregards it as whispers on the wind, preferring to get a feel for things himself when he attends the Royal Wedding.

Appearance: Lucas is a tall, wiry man, neither muscular or gaunt in frame. His long face is framed by a shock of orange-red hair, his beard being regularly trimmed. Beneath the facial hair the man’s skin is dotted with freckles, appearing across his hooked nose and cheeks, a pair of hazel eyes staring back beneath thick brows. His attire tends to be more practical than elegant, preferring leather breeches and plain cotton shirts to elaborate silk doublets, and the sole ornamentation he'll regularly wear is a cloak pin fashioned into a silver trout. While a mediocre swordsman at best (His younger brothers easily besting him in melee combat), the heir to Riverrun is a skilled archer and is comfortable on horseback.

Family: See above

Other: In light of the Lord Paramount’s illness, Lucas will act as the head of the Tully host in attending the Targaryen-Baratheon wedding. Besides joining in on the festivities, it is expected that he shall take this opportunity to look for a potential bride at his parents behest (Something he is not looking forward to).

Names

Roland and Robar Wilds

Gender

Male

Year of Birth

365 AC

Age

9

Titles/Nicknames

Bark and Bite

Marital Status

They don't even care yet

Personality

Robar is a quiet and thoughtful child, often reputed to be the cleverer of the two. This isn't necessarily true, Roland just speaks his mind rather carelessly, while Robar holds his tongue. Robar is actually the worse of the two at paying attention to the Maester's teachings, because he is often distracted, either by thoughts of combat, or by whatever passing thought strikes him. It's usually the former. He also possesses a quick temper, leading to multiple scuffles, which he usually comes out on top of. Roland talks more, and Robar fights more. Thus, Bark and Bite.

Roland is certainly the kinder of the two, although arguably just as rough and tumble as his brother. He's the one who gets the two out of the messes that Rogar gets them into, and he actively throws himself into his education from the Maester, because he doesn't want to disappoint his father. They both worship their father and grandfather, their grandfather especially (sorry Robert), and would do many things just because it was Robert asking, or literally anything if it were Roland. They also want to grow up to be just like them, great warriors and heroes of the next generation. Whether that's going to happen or not depends on many things, not least of all how well the Wilds fare in the coming turbulence.

Biography

Robar and Roland were born while their father was still a great knight, and as such absorbed much of the active martial culture encouraged by both this and the general history of House Wilds. Ever since they could comprehend, they've hero-worshiped the warriors of the Wilds line, especially Roland, whom they look up to as some sort of heroic ideal that they should aspire to be like in every way. For his part, Robert was just fine with encouraging this mindset; what father would not be proud of their sons wanting to follow in his footsteps? Roland, too, favoured the boys' ambitions, although

WIP, need to pick Hypnos' brains about Robert's parenting

Family
They're Wilds. Not much else needs be said.

Other
They're both around 4'8" and 100 lbs (If this is wrong for a child or in general, say so). So far in their training, Robar fight a little like it's a brawl, getting in close, while Roland's technique is far cleaner and involves the blade much more.

Name: Jasper Arryn

Gender: Male

Year of Birth: 351 AC

Age: 21

Title(s): Lord of the Eyrie, Defender of the Vale and Warden of the West

Marital Status: Single ;)

Personality: Driven primarily by his political ambitions and a strong desire to acquire both wealth and power, Jasper Arryn is both ruthless and unrelenting when it comes to achieving his goals and possess the sort of low cunning one would expect from a man of his station. Having spent the majority of his youth away from his home, the Lord of the Vale has proved to be very gifted academically, in no small part due to the great variation of his tutors, and his time in the free cities has allowed him to learn a great deal about both Essos and Westeros and the intricacies of politics within the known world. Despite an advanced knowledge of the theoretical, a lack of strong figures of authority within Jasper’s life meant that he was forced to educate himself in matters of class and social etiquette, though others might consider this a curse, Jasper perceived it as a blessing, for without the hinderance of his doddering old father and his foolish accomplices he was able to learn much about people and their intentions, giving him an acute ability to read people from just their face and body language.

Jasper is a notorious womaniser and incredibly popular with all of the women throughout Westeros. While his father and brother would continue to advise him to settle down and find a wife, Jasper has a hard time confining himself to just one woman and does not want to rid women of the possibility to be with him in the future. His success with women is due, in no small part to his ability to play the puppet master and manipulate those around him, wrapping people around his finger and forcing them to do exactly what he wants.

Biography: The eldest son of the elderly Lord Robert Arryn and his young wife: Andrea Royce, Jasper Arryn was a difficult child. His father had been overly coddled when he was younger and as such was hesitant to offer his son any form of praise or congratulations for fear that Jasper would turn our similarly to his father. This caused a great animosity between father and son that would plague their relationship for the rest of Robert’s long life and it was this lack of approval that would drive Jasper into towards seeking other forms of satisfaction such as wealth, women and power.

From a very young age, at his father’s behest, Jasper was forcefully encouraged to explore the world, leaving the confines of the Eyrie at the mere age of eight to serve as a page for his uncle Ser Waymar Royce on his journeys around Essos. These travels would take him as far as the former settlements of Slaver’s Bay and it was there in the bustling streets of Astapor full of con artists, prostitutes, and port masters that he learned about the art of tradecraft and economics, lessons that would stick with him throughout his entire life.

Jasper would return home five years later (after his uncle died from an infection caught from a cheap Lyseni whore) and would begin serving as an advisor to his father, telling him all he had learnt about tradecraft from his travels abroad. Whilst at first his wisdom was disregarded due to the fact that he was: ‘only thirteen’ and ‘didn’t know anything about trading’ eventually his father relented and allowed him to ward with Lord Grafton in Gulltown.

Lord Grafton was like the father that Jasper had always wanted, he was slow to anger and quick to praise and unlike Lord Robert he listened to Jasper’s advice in regards to trade which led to a great increase of commodities coming through Gulltown, especially whores which Jasper, as a teenager approaching manhood, took great interest in. Gulltown was also where learned to become a warrior, and he found that he was a natural with both a sword and a lance, being able to fight and joust with great ease. It would be whilst he was occupied with Gulltown however when his father orchestrated his biggest betrayal.

At the age of nineteen Jasper’s father would introduce him to the young Jeyne Hunter the daughter of one of his vassals, Robert had arranged with the Hunters for Jasper to marry Jeyne when they were still in infancy and it had finally become time for them to seal the deal. Jasper fought against the match of course, for not only was the House of Hunter of a lower social standing than that of Arryn but the girl was also incredibly, overweight, pimpled and generally unpleasant to look upon. With no intention of marrying her, yet a father who was insistent upon their union, Jasper had no choice but to take matters into his own hands. He seduced one of the girl’s servants, and after a few weeks of the scandalous affair was able to convince the girl to drown his bride-to-be in her own bath, sealing Jeyne’s fate. When it was revealed that the Hunter had died Jasper had the servant executed for murder, ensuring that no one knew that he had been complicit in the murder, the shock of having to take another life finally opened Jasper’s eyes in regards to his father’s incompetence and he began plotting Lord Robert’s downfall.

It was not a year later when Lord Robert perished, and Jasper felt a great weight lifted from him (and not least because his coin purse had grown considerably lighter over the past few months.) Jasper was appointed Lord of the Eyrie and Warden of the East and was now set upon increasing his own power and possibly finding a wife. He had considered many candidates that would be worthy to take his hand in marriage like Ivana Baratheon who after only a few meetings had already succumbed to his great charm, or Nymeria Martell whose Dornish blood made her good for fucking, though in truth Jasper new that he deserved nothing less than royalty for one day, Jasper aspired to seat himself upon the Iron Throne of Westeros and that day was drawing ever closer.

NAME
Daena Targaryen. ((Yet to decide previous husband.))
GENDER
Female.

YEAR OF BIRTH // AGE
341 AC, making her thirty-two.

TITLES

MARITIAL STATUS
Widowed.

APPEARANCE
With her long, silvery platinum blonde hair and violet eyes, Daena is very obviously a Targaryen. She still retains the beauty of her late teens/early twenties, though the signs of stress are slowly beginning to catch up with her. She seems permanently irritated and has developed a nasty habit of clenching her jaw quite forcefully whenever she is met with a stressful situation. Standing at 5'8" she could be considered tall compared to some women yet still short compared to others. She has a womanly figure that she learnt to use to her advantage long ago.

PERSONALITY
Being liked for a sweet nature has never been Daena's top priority. Kind words of praise and encouragement have always been reserved exclusively for siblings, parents, and eventually her precious children. She does not believe in empty compliments or idle threats, she is certainly a woman who delivers on her promises, whether the outcome is good or bad. One who never learnt to hold her tongue, Daena can easily let venomous words slip from her lips even when she is speaking to the most important of people; fortunately for her she has avoided trouble thus far. Daena is not usually the impulsive sort who lets her emotions get the better of her, however if her family are involved in a situation then her emotions can begin to take over. She is a woman who likes to indulge in the things she likes, whether that's men, food, jewellery, or as she has in recent years favoured over all, wine. Slowly she is beginning to mellow as her children get older but at events such as a Royal Wedding when there are all sorts of unfamiliar people around, she keeps her sharp wits about her. Overall Daena is a cunning but sarcastic woman who values her family over anything else and would rather die than see any of them come to harm.

Visenya Celtigar.

GENDER
Female.

YEAR OF BIRTH // AGE
357 AC, making her sixteen.

TITLES

MARITIAL STATUS
Unmarried.

APPEARANCE
Unlike her mother, Visenya is small and slight, with all of Daena's curves but very little of her confidence. Her platinum blonde hair is kept relatively short but thick, and sometimes a few curls fall in front of her face, giving something for her to hide behind when she's overcome with a new wave of bashfulness. She has big, bright doe eyes.

PERSONALITY
First and foremost, Visenya is incredibly shy. The girl spends a lot of time hiding behind her sister or younger brother, and speaks so little that she often goes unnoticed. Unless you happen to be some sort of rare exception there's a certain degree of patience that goes into earning Visenya's trust. With the people she trusts she is still quiet but much more relaxed and affectionate. Although she is reasonably intelligent she is also blinded by a childlike naivety that leads her to only see the best in people and find a way to justify just about anything a person does. She seems to be quite good at talking to people once she's come out of her shell a bit, and really just wants to help whenever she can. She's unsure of herself and blushes a lot, but she's also quite a brave little woman and still has some of her mother's fire deep down.

Rodger Arryn

Male

Year of Birth

Titles/Nicknames

None, really. He's just not nearly remarkable enough compared to his over-the-top brother. At best, he has 'Little Birdie' from a couple of the less respectful knights sworn to the Arryns.

Marital Status

"Holy shit, forget me, someone marry my brother, already!"

Personality

Rodger has had essentially his entire life revolve around Jasper Arryn, and has had very little time to look to himself so far. He has made it his life's mission to try and restrain Jasper to whatever degree he can in his constant womanising, and ensure the good name of House Arryn. While his brother is not totally incompetent, far from it, his lack of social grace and his motivations often leave many women and their friends and associates insulted, and with a poor impression of House Arryn. Rodger spends much of his time either minimising this, or apologising those who Jasper may have accidentally or intentionally slighted. He absorbed his father's teachings of etiquette and noble grace, and already has something of the bearing of a noble lord, even if said bearing is undermined by his perpetually boyish looks which seem to have stopped aging at 13.

Many describe Rodger as 'a troubled boy' and they're not far from the truth. He has spent so much of his life focused on Jasper, and working in the interests of the House, that he has neglected himself, and doesn't really know how to relax or unwind. He grew up really quickly. Because of this, he always seems rather tense, and somewhat irritated. He also doesn't actually understand himself very well, his own thoughts, desires, and emotions are still fairly alien to him, simply because he's been focused so intensely on Jasper. This is mostly from Robert's overconcern for Jasper transferring into Rodger, but also a sort of brotherly concern. He doesn't particularly like Jasper, and especially despises his over-sexuality, but he can't just leave Jasper alone against the world.

Under all that, he's actually a good kid, courteous, chivalrous, steadfast, and kindhearted. It's rarely on full display, but it's still there, colouring his actions, words, and choices in the more lordly persona that has almost superseded his actual personality. And he's just dug himself a deeper hole with that, gaining a reputation for acting beyond his years, which has earned him both mockery and respect.

Bio

I don't really need to say much. Rodger grew up with his father constantly grumbling about Jasper, doing this and saying that, and the equal parts concern and animosity filtered into him just as well as Robert's lessons on etiquette, diplomacy, and lordly bearing, as well as the Maester's teachings did, and as well as the Master at Arms' lessons on swordplay. This has left him unfortunately focused on Jasper rather than himself.

Appearance

Rodger is seventeen, but has the face of one multiple years younger, which has caused no small amount of irritation at its undermining of Rodger's dignity. It also endears him to the type who are endeared by that sort of stuff, and it is likely that he will continue to have his appearance place him at a visible age of years below his real age. He's not a particularly large or small boy for his age, perhaps a bit on the tall side, but also on the thinner side, so it evens out somewhat. He has visible muscle from combat training, though little more than you would expect from another lordling of his shape and age.

Name

Xharar Daanqom

Gender

Male

Year of Birth

335 AC

Age

37

Titles/Nicknames

The Bowman of the Bones: Xharar Daanqom is a Summer Islander, obviously, but more specifically comes from The Bones. Combined with his skill at archery, this nickname is only natural.

Xharar the Singer: This moniker is applied to Xharar in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek way. Xharar says that his bow 'sings' as it is fired, and thus he is a singer. Many unaware of the true meaning of this nickname are disappointed when Xharar's actual singing capability is somewhat lacklustre, although he is certainly enthusiastic.

Duncan: This nickname is one applied to him mostly Westerosi natives, although some Essosi have taken to this name, and use it as well, on account of his family name Daanqom being pronounced very similarly to Duncan, and this is a more familiar name to them than either one of his actual names. He doesn't really mind, for his part.

Marital Status

Widowed

Personality

Xharar can be easily described in one word. Relaxed. He stresses about little, and often seems to be inordinately relaxed for a retainer/bodyguard for Viserys. Officially, he's just a retainer, but everyone knows Xharar would give his life for Viserys in a heartbeat. Even this fierce loyalty manifests in a casual way in Xharar, normally. He isn't the type to get offended on behalf of his liege, but he'll still gently (or less gently, if need be) shut people up, because people can't just go around slandering Viserys. Xharar is a man of his word, and honourable to a fault, especially when his word is concerned, which is an odd trait for a former sellsword, but that's just the way of the world. Overall, he projects a rather wholesome, charming image, always smiling, laughing, and joking, always affable. Only a fool then lets this sway him to underestimate Xharar, for there is a hidden steel in him.

When the time for combat comes, Xharar is a different man altogether. His face sets into a grim mask of determination, and he is quiet, rarely letting out so much as a battle cry. He is very passionate about his bow, and about archery, even more so than most Summer Islanders, considering it an art to never really be perfected rather than a fighting style that has 'masters' of it. He constantly seeks self-improvement, always wishing to be a better archer, a better friend, a better man than he was the previous day.

Biography

WIP

Appearance

Xharar is a typical Summer Islander, black skinned and black haired, although he eschews the feathered cloaks of his people, favouring more practical garments, and leather or mail armour, with a breastplate with the emblem of Triarch Viserys on it. In his sellsword days, of course, he didn't have that breastplate, just a boiled leather one. Xharar is considered somewhat good-looking, but he does nothing to play it up. He is taller than most, at 6'3", and has a good deal of muscle from firing his great Goldenheart bow, but his natural frame is quite thin, so he's not really as large as his height would suggest.

Other

Xharar is an expert archer, seemingly unparalleled in his skill. He is also a competent spearman, though not really enough to be considered well above average. He could probably beat the average guard or footman in a fight, but a decent knight is likely beyond him, barring a stroke of luck. It's mostly his archery that he markets and prides himself on. Similarly, Xharar adores his bow, a masterfully-crafted Goldenheart bow of exquisite quality, something he could afford when Viserys brought him into his service.

NAME
Lyara Stark.

GENDER
Female.

YEAR OF BIRTH // AGE
357 AC, making her sixteen.

TITLES

MARITIAL STATUS
Unmarried.

APPEARANCE
Lyara is a young woman who can sometimes appear to be older than she is thanks to a mixture of looks and demeanour. She is fair-skinned, with a light dusting of faint freckles across the bridge of her nose and piercing green eyes that could be described as feline in shape. Her hair, rather than being dark like many of the members of her family, is a vibrant red. Slightly curly, it is often worn loose with a strand or two braided or pulled back.

PERSONALITY
Family is very important to Lyara and her siblings mean everything to her. They are her best friends, and given the chance she would defend them with her life. It is perhaps growing up with her siblings that led her to develop a sharp tongue and wit, which gets her into trouble much more than it gets her out of it. Ever since she was a little girl she has been interested in boys who are older than her, maybe five years or so, but lately she has developed a penchant for much older men. Something to do with her desire to be seen as an adult, perhaps. She flirts and teases with ease, it's almost a hobby of hers, although perhaps a little less appropriate than archery.
Beneath her sarcasm and flirtation, Lyara isn't an overly harsh person unless she considers you to be an enemy of her family. She appears to think she has more knowledge of the world than she does, or at least she acts like it; she hides the gaps in her knowledge and her lack of experience with vague statements and the largest words she can think of. The girl would much rather try to keep up in a conversation about war with an adult man than discuss more ordinary things for her age with a sixteen year old girl. Adventure is something she craves, and she does not seem to fear the consequences of her words or actions. Though she can be sweet, her affection is also laced with sarcastic remarks; she loves her siblings with all her heart and even they are often the subjects of her teasing. Naturally however there is a clear difference between playful and malicious comments.
In summary Lyara is a sarcastic, flirtatious young woman with a liking for affection and a desire to be seen as an adult rather than a child.

Work in progress.

Name: Cregan Stark.

Gender: Male

Year of Birth: 332 AC

Age: 40

Title(s): Lord Stark, Warden of the North, The Silent Wolf

Marital Status: Married

Personality:

Cregan Stark is much like his ancestors. He cares deeply for his people, for his family, and the benefit of the North. This is reflected in the large amount of familial mixing he had demanded during his reign. The War of the Five Kings and the turmoil it caused the North did not end when Daenerys Targaryen assumed the throne. Many Northern Houses had new reasons to despise one another, Cregan had taken it upon himself to merge families to reduce the bickering. As a Lord, Cregan is a fair and just man. He understands that not all crimes are done with malicious intent and will be lenient when possible, advising those beneath him to do the same. Likewise, betrayers, liars, killers and other ne'er do wells receive no mercy from Lord Stark. He is fair but strict when it comes to handing out the the King's Justice. As is tradition in the Stark Family, Cregan will oversee and perform a majority of local executions himself with a face of stone and Widow's Wail regrettably in his palm.

At home, Cregan is a warm if not quiet father and husband. He isn't one to shy away from a verbal challenge when confronting his children or wife, however he's done so less and less in the past few years. Cregan tries to empower his children and give them a variety of experiences, so when he's gone or they're off living their lives, they will be accustom to the world. Even for his daughters, this includes horse back riding, hunting, trips to and sometimes beyond the Wall (Only with a particularly large guard) and archery. With his sons, Cregan has tried to impose upon them his own sense of justice and duty - to the crown first and to shy away from nefarious plots. Even if you're not impressed by those who have authority over you, it's important to respect tradition and the seat of power they represent, as undermining the throne will only lead to a disastrous outcome.

Stark is hard to genuinely anger. He may grow frustrated or annoyed, but an anger that threatens to awaken any wolf blood he has is rare to be seen. He is a patient and understanding man, with enough knowledge and experience to rule over the North with minimal oversight from the throne or relying too heavily on any singular local lord. One fault of Lord Stark is that he is too forgiving and has a longing to look for the best in each person, even those who he must execute for crimes that cannot be forgiven, he feels sorrow for. It hasn't led to any poor judgement on his behalf yet, apart from allowing a known thief to work the kitchens for several years, alongside issuing out Silver Stags to blatantly lying children in town. His generous nature is often overlooked by outsiders and those not familiar with Lord Stark - the typical disposition of the man betraying his nature and making him appear to be a brooding and silent Lord.

Biography:

Son of Eddard Stark and Marna Bolton, Cregan grew up in a household that lacked much warmth in it. Marna, the granddaughter of Roose Bolton, held little in the ways of favor for Cregan's father. Likewise, Eddard inherited a deep disdain for the Bolton's and many other traitorous Northern Houses. Their union came at the behest of the late Lord Manderly, who understood well enough that the North would rip itself apart if new unions were not made. So it was, Rickon Stark begrudgingly approved of the marriage and forced them together. Cregan grew up torn between a mother he loved and a father he wanted to impress. Trying to play both sides of the family ended up with a sneering father and Marna Stark's countless insults spoken in private, all directed at the Stark Family. The constant bickering and embarrassment from the parents did not go unnoticed by Lord Rickon. He had them removed for great quantities of time, having Lord Eddard range North beyond the Wall with the Night's Watch - a sign that the Lord of Winterfell was still thinking of the Crows. Other times, Marna would be sent Southward, to White Harbor where she had second and third cousins. This left Cregan with Rickon for periods of time, where his grandfather would pass on valuable knowledge of governing that Eddard was not one to care for. As time pushed forward, Cregan would eventually join Eddard beyond the Wall for these trips. It would be there that Cregan killed for the first time. . Where he would love a woman the way only a man could, and get a surreal impression of the world.

Cregan would marry his cousin, a woman he had admired for many years before hand, in 354 and be blessed with children the very next year. His blessings would come at a constant curse. The year after, Eddard Stark would fall ill during the darkness of winter and pass beneath the rooftop of Winterfell. His funeral was swift and he was laid to rest. Rickon Stark grew quiet and Solomon as his sons passing, having not given up his seat yet and now suddenly regretting that action. The next year Rickon stepped down, making the young Cregan Warden of the North in 357 AC at the age of 25. Cregan was quick to call the banners, wanting to throw a celebration on behalf of his late father, his own appointment, and the long years of service Rickon had given the North. It was a loud affair that lasted two weeks and buried Cregan in debt for years to come, but the man couldn't say he wasn't happy. The joy was short lived when his mother, Marna Stark, would collapse one morning and not awake. What took her was a large unknown, Cregan wasted little time having her put to rest. Not under Winterfell, but riding out to the Dread Fort, the place she called home till her final days. The Lord grew quiet for a time after that, burying himself into his work and frequently talking to Rickon Stark. The wisdom of the older lord served as a crutch for Cregan's first handful of years.

Cregan eventually would invite opposing Lord's to his castle, forcing them to interact on friendlier terms and typically suggesting heavily marriage pacts between the two families. It was a common tactic of his to unite the embittered Northerners, one that was working well enough in the last few years. Before the death of Rickon Stark, Cregan would go North, beyond the Wall a final time. Ever few years Lord Stark would go, sometimes taking his children, othertimes alone. Any time he left, Lord Stark always ventured the same route, went to the same stops and met similar Wildlings. It began a wild rumor at the Wall - something that spread to much of the North - that Cregan had a bastard up North he was frequently checking up on. In 368 AC, he would never return. Cregan planned another trip in 371 but the unexpected demise of Rickon Stark threw the full weight of the North on Cregan's shoulders. Rickon was given a ceremony more elaborate than even his father. There was no week of partying, but a hero's service and a statue built in his image in the courtyard.

Family:

Rickon Stark 295 - 370 (Age 75)

Eddard Stark 314 - 356 (Age 42)
Marna Bolton 319 - 358 (Age 39)
Cregan Stark 332 - (Age 40)
Twin #1 355 -
Twin #2 355 -

Other:

Cregan Stark is not a man known for his skills in combat, little has ever been said about his swordsmanship. He offers no display to his retainers or allies, fights in no tourney or practices publicly. His children will know him as a deceptively fast and lethal fighter, but that is against the house guard and training dummies, the occasional Wildling when North of the Wall.

Cregan Stark does not use Widow's Wail regularly. It is a sword that he believes holds great dishonor in it, needing to be avenged before any Stark can wield the blade without besmirching their ancestors. This means taking back the other half of the sword. Likewise, the Lannisters holding half of Ice is a sore spot for Lord Cregan, causing a disdain for the family.

He's not one to mix words. Stark may banter, he may enjoy a good verbal lashing, but he doesn't take any joy from coy remarks and idle threats. A hint at a mystery or insinuation from someone that could be a threat is not taken lightly by Lord Stark.

Cregan had fallen ill twice recently, once months after Rickon Stark Died and another in the past half year. It was believed by the Maester to be worrisome, as Eddard died at a comparable age to Cregan. He recovered both times without any sign of his body or health being scarred.

Underneath Cregan's left arm is a nasty gash, a scar from an early trip beyond the Wall. Lord Stark claims it's from running through the brush, but it looks more like a claw mark from a large wolf or small bear.

Cregan earned the moniker "The Silent Wolf" at a young age, originally being known as the "Silent Pup" as his parents often bickered and he was forced to bear it quietly. Rickon gave him the first nickname which eventually evolved as Cregan grew older.

Lord Stark has a love of his family. Bolton and Stark, but he found a closer parental attachment to Rickon than either his father or mother.
