June is very outspoken and not afraid to speak her mind, however when you're her friend sheis a rather goofy character. She loves to poke fun and tell jokes and her signature greeting is the fistbump.
Background

It's going, going, gone!
Character

June was born in the New York Quarantine Zone, the Bronx sector. Her father was an Army Mechanic and her mother was an aid worker, both lived in relative peace within the NYC Quarantine Zone. However the introduction of the Fireflies quickly brought unrest, and when soon they Military within went into full totalitarian control. The constant need for repairs required that June, though still young, help her father in the repair, production and stocking of a variety of vehicles and weapons. This became her full time child job until she turned thirteen and was forced to attend drill school to strengthen the military's forces. There she learned a variety of skills of survival and combat though he main passion was the variety of sports the camp offered, becoming the star Catcher for her dorm room's pickup team. However this bliss ended when a medical exam revealed an abnormality in her brain which appeared to be blocking virus from taking yield, this was quickly discovered by Firefly spies. She was kidnapped from her dorm and taken to an underground hospital, as the new leader of the Fireflies explained they were going to remove her brain for study. They nearly succeeded too if it weren't for guard who had been hiding bite turning and attacking her captors. She made her escape and returned to her home only to find a dreadful sight, her mother and father had been killed to keep them from looking for her. Now she moves from place to place within the Quarantine Zone trying to keep out of the Firefly's grasp.

Peter has a strong 'survival' instinct, yet his judgement can often be clouded when his friends or people he care about are in danger, acting out of the instinct to protect more than survival. At first Peter can seem harsh and blunt but he has a soft side that becomes more obvious as time goes on.
Background

Peter was a successful author before all of this, he wrote crime and mystery novels, and before that he was a cop, retiring from the forces at 22 once he married. He had a healthy marriage to his wife; Evelyn. Not 3 months into the marriage and their first daughter was born, Tatiana. It wasn't long before Evelyn was pregnant with their second child. Then it happened. His wife and daughter were slain in a vicious attack against the police forces at a Ceremony in memory of their former police chief. The perpetrators had open fired at the ceremony, only 4 out of 230 people that were there had died, including Evelyn and Tatiana.
